1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedSo I did box & wrap the baby blanket, wrote my menu plan, diced & cooked the last of the wilted carrots, old onions & garlic - now bagged & in garage freezer. Dinner was pork steaks, mash & broccoli (from kitchen freezer) for DH & DSis & I had the lo pasta Bolognese from Wednesday. I am still trying very hard to empty kitchen freezer - I was hoping to have it done by the end of January but that won’t happen 😔 so now my new date is 14th February - a Valentine’s Day present to myself - defrost the freezer 🤣 Wudupa.Friday started dull & overcast but now the sun is trying to break through 🙂 Not quite as cold as it has been 🙂 I have raided the freezer & now have enough lo Somerset chicken sauce portions for tonight’s dinner just need to heat thoroughly then grate over cheese & grill. Need to cook some chicken pieces. Then will serve with boiled potatoes, carrots & peas. Today will see DH & I finishing the hm soup. I have dealt with today’s mail.150 - 155 Kitchen recycling, newspaper, glass jar & metal lid, 0.5” scrap paper, cardboard packaging, Uu deodorant can - recycled156 - 157 Kitchen detritus, plastic packaging - binnedThanks Siebrie 👏 I will try to focus on ‘now me’ with a few tweaks towards future me 😉You did make me laugh balabooberlies 😅 As to upgrading your crafting skills by learning to knit - I would definitely start with something smaller than a blanket - a scarf perhaps 😉 You will be able to see a finished item & it won’t matter too much if there are dropped stitches etc as you can use it indoors only & save on heating bills 😉😉
Sorry for your loss weenancyinAmerica. Considerate car 😉 - hopefully the mechanic can repair cheaply so you can keep it on the road for another year whilst you explore other options 🤞I quite agree vulpix - after all Bala the Brave can do anything she sets her mind to 👏 As toJanuary being a non month, I think you have been recharging your Life Batteries in preparation for returning to work 🙂 Good luck in finding a crafting project 🍀You have been working your little helper too hard, Baxtersmum 😉😉 A disco ball dyson 😅Well said Suffolksue 👏

Oh yes Mrs S.D.
i WILL be starting with something like a scarf. I have learnt missing steps in life for expediency rarely pays off especially if you want to do something well. My Ultimate goal is to knit beautiful blankets that will keep the ones I love warm.
big hug to all

Hi all,
Just checking in really. Today started with clearing some work to dos that have been lingering, unfortunately the meetings this week have resulted in even more to dos! Oh well at least it keeps me busy and in a job.Pilates class with my sadistic instructor today too. Instead of the gentle stretching and breathing people think we do it was a case of wide legs squats, press ups, obliques and some planking. We did get a nice little lie down at the end. I shall feel this in the morning!✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Bala, I have a book with knitting patterns for mug warmers, so smaller than a scarf. Like q mini scarf to go round a mug with a loop and button to fasten it. I haven't got back to knitting and tried crochet but got stuck on second row however much I watched YouTube. So mug warmers for next year stocking using up left over bits of wool.
Down seeing my dad back in hospital so priority.
Love Andrew mellen reminding that declutterinf is to enable you to have time with family, friends or doing things other than looking for things and not a hobby / occupation to spend more time on.

I've no idea what's the matter with me today, everything seems such an effort. I decluttered some salmon and a potato out of the fridge at lunchtime, and half a dozen leftover Xmas chocs for dinner, so that might be part of it
took a pair of horrible faded curtains to the fabric recycling, and put a box of clean empty jars out for someone to collect, but they're still there. 14 items so far this year.
I'm going to do the like with like thing, it might help me remember where I've put stuff?!Magnolia Stellata12 -
367: job application decluttered
368-387: another 20 items to bin or recycling.
Still doing OK on the no spend days... not so good on the get up and go!‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Car is back - another bad battery. Since they just put one in less than two weeks ago no charge - but this is three in two years. Not all from the same company - I despair of our manufacturing if things keep falling down on the job. Only had a car for one week this month - so saved a lot on gas and shopping. Managed to fall on the cement walkway while feeding cats early this morning and now have limited use of my left arm. Side hurts and hand bruised also - so won't be driving soon anyway. Did manage to declutter some items today - but only using one arm to do it. Finally got my roommate to deliver the last of the Christmas presents when the car made it home. Switching TV supplier so without television at the moment. Hoping roommates will have a reason to clean up with extra time on their hands- but not counting on it. Just doing my spaces - will be having a large item pick-up from our trash company in two weeks which will help. They will pick up 20 items or less free three times a year. We had two pick-ups last year - ran out of time for the one we are doing now. Will be happy to get a couple of large pieces of furniture out as well as other things.14

Hi all, I have just lost the longest post and really can't rewrite it
Quick version is the funeral was lovely but a major family row erupted at the end of the evening after we had left and we have spent some time supporting our friend.
I have realised that I really don't like Jan/Feb after rereading some old journals but will have to battle on until March as it is totally impractical to hibernate
I have found someone to sort out the pointing and he will be here next week which means I can start to think about a new kitchen
I can see a way forward with my banking frog which should be done soon.
2 parcels posted so some decluttering doneNot much else other than usual rubbish.
I had loads of things to say to everyone after catching up on the 17 pages since my last post but it has all gone from my mind.
I am going to finish now in case this disappears as well
Take care everyonel:13
