A BNWT Pretty Little Thing denim dress £5. It’s a sleeveless sheath dress that comes just below the knee. It did have channels on each side with long strips of denim so you could ruche it up but I took them out.BNWT M & S Good Move black PE leggings £5. Exactly what I was looking for.
Asos denim shirt with deep cuffs £5
Clarks ankle length wellies VGC look hardly used £2. Purple with pink soles. I think they’re kids as they are size 2.
8 items to be donated so I’m at -6. I’m going to try and keep a running total for items in/items out. So far 5 in 11 out.7 -
It seems that us savvy lot are sensible enough to realise that 'designer' doesn't always mean 'desirable'.
I'd expect something like that to be about £75 in the sales so I certainly wouldn't pay that from a charity shop.Miró said:
Spotted another pricy 'bargain' yesterday, this time in the normally really cheap community chazza. Twas a pair of b/n ankle boots by either Ted Baker or Kurt Geiger, (can't remember). Black leather dotted with small coloured sparkly stones all over and priced at £75....think they said original price around the £200 markI do hope this isn't indicative of future trends in chazza prices??!!
Some KG boots are 70% off on their website.
TB are less generous.
I bought a pair of Clarks ankle boots yesterday from the hospice shop.
Minky brown suede with a faux-fur trim top and strap/buckle across the ankle. Little worn, tops are free of scuffs & marks. £4.00

Rosa_Damascena said:My last 3 handbag purchases are from the local £2 chazzer and they are not only very smart but practical. The £100 one pictured would stay on the shelf even at £2.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. St Johns (Worcs) yesterday.
Bright red North Face fleecy jumper - £6. I tend to wear red and white at the football and, as we’re now the lowest ranked team to still be in the FA cup, I’ve been on television a few times!
Grey squirrel toy for my sister’s Forest school lessons. £14 -

Another trip to the 99p St Gemma's Hospice Clearance shop today. Upstairs in the books/household section I spotted a great wodge of b/n curtain fabric hanging from a heavy duty wooden coat hanger. Soooo much fabric it was difficult to judge the width/length. Siingle colour yellowy cream damask fabric with a big sort of chrysanthemum flower & leaves pattern in a traditional style. Not my kind of thing but I have a friend who is currently re-styling a dining room in a traditional style and the room has huge windows so for 99p(!) I thought it worth a gamble on both pleasing said friend and also being enough fabric. Anyhoo, after staggering home with the weighty bundle I have found that there is just over 9metres of fabric x 140cm wide which has already been cut and pattern matched into 4 lengths. Have sent a pic and description to friend so it looks like we will be curtain making at the week-end!!!

Golden damask, I like it! Would be perfect for reupholstering my sofas (also chazzer finds, barely used and donated by a hotel). No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.3 -
I've been on the lookout for silver shoes (bridesmaid shoes), the bride loves a bargain so I'm pretty sure she will be fine with it. None so far but I have a few months.
