I love the outfit @Miró. Both pairs of boots look great but I'd also choose the tall ones.
I have two charity shop buys (Age Concern in Bedale, for local enthusiasts): a cream linen shirt (£4.59) and a navy silk blouse (£5.59).
And - I know this was a car boot sale not a charity shop but you guys will appreciate the reuse/bargain glory of it - 7 small balls of yarn for £1 and a multi-cooker for £20!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

I think it's because I've hit 40, I'm finding Wallis items more and more appealing, they're like a nice fun but classic/slightly older in style.
Gorgeous long khaki green knit cardigan (nice decent long sleeves!) £2 in the hospice clearance shop
Dirty tan coloured PU faux leather jacket (round neck, not collar flaps) £7.50 in the hospice main store (same local hosipce with two stores in the same town centre)
Both Wallis, very grown up but, f if I'm 40 or not, I'm still probably going to pair both with my ripped skinny jeans haha!Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Jan 2012: £16,000+ [STRIKE] Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Sep 2013: £13,023 [/STRIKE]

Had a fruitful rummage in the St Gemma's 99p shop in Otley today. Again found a long length of unused curtain fabric, 4m x 140cm of Villa Nova cotton/linen mix in 'Bloom' pattern. Not sure what I'm going to do with it....might make a nice door curtain for a friend. Even if it just ends up as cushion covers I could not leave it at just 99p for the lot. Found similar online that sells for £40 per metre
Then spotted a Precis sleeveless shift dress in a dull black satin with random 'clumps' of beading & sequins. This is it on eBay tho in real life it's not so 'curvy!!! Had been for sale in another St Gemma's shop @ £9.99 but twas 99p in the clearance shop.

Pale pink Adidas Gazelle suede trainers £6. They were grubby but little wear on the soles. I put them in the washing machine and they have come up a treat.
Emma Bridgewater Toast address book 99p
Dove derma spa body lotion £1
Ted Baker shower cream £1.50

Very elegant (and sexy).
I bought a pair of brown leather Converse boots today from Age UK for £5.00.
In as new condition.
The jury is out regarding size (Youths 2.5) but I think they will be OK with thin socks.
I'm anywhere between 2 and 3.5 depending on style and thickness of socks.
Oh - and a (hopefully) waterproof hat that is reversible - maroon on one side, navy on the other. Will go with 2 of my coats. And it fits. I have a very small head and have been known to wear age 7 sunhats.
£1.00 local hospice.
I did drop off half a dozen dresses that I know I'll never wear again, plus 2 leather handbags bought in India.

Mamas and Papas dolls pram for my ggd in very good condition £4.
Monsoon dress that is absolutely beautiful and fits lovely but unfortunately too short. Over the knee look on a 78yo is not a good look. All that clutter used to be money9 -
I had a piece of good luck in the Age UK shop this Monday and found this lovely very heavy 100% cotton Jigsaw cardi which fits my narrow shoulders perfectly, £3.99.

I have that problem as I'm big and tall ( v curvy 5'10) but I've finally found the nerve to wear shorter dresses as tunics over leggings (mostly Primarni as they are one of the few that come in the right length...) especially since WFH came inSayschezza said:Mamas and Papas dolls pram for my ggd in very good condition £4.
