I have a similar note-on-my-phone system for a particular author I like. I can never remember which ones in a series I'm still looking for and end up buying duplicates. I wrote a list of wanted ones, which I could never find cos it was always in the wrong coat. So I wrote another list and took a pic of it with my phone

I have a few notes on my phone for books, DVDs I have (to avoid duplicates) and would like to find and a wish list of things to keep an eye out for in charity shops.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

I keep a note of the baking tin sizes and shapes I'm looking out for tucked into my phone case and snap photos of things I want to remember for whatever reason.
I thought that others on this thread might find this newsletter interesting as it shows some fascinating photos of East End markets in the early 70s. David Hoffman In Cheshire St | Spitalfields Life There are all sorts of things for sale that I half recognise and I'd definitely have been interested in the dovecote with the weathervane on top.5 -

Love Pollycat's brooch, btw 😍 although I'm also not a brooch person...don't think I own a single one these days although I did have some huge diamanté ones in the late '80s when I was a student 😀

Me, when I was a student in 1986 (aged 19) with hair extensions done at Antenna - all clothing either charity shop or made by me. The shiny *dress* in the last pic had gorgeous little horseshoe fastenings -

Fabulous pics @liberty_lily!
I had a good day, chazzer-wise. In various local hospice shops I managed to tick off a number of things from my wish list, including a dolly car seat, kiddy supermarket basket and groceries and a dolly accessory set with potty, magic milk bottle, reusable nappies, hair brushes etc for my three year old granddaughter to play with when she (regularly) visits.
I also bought a book on my latest hobby of making fused glass, some unused cross stitch kits, and a king sized Christmas patterned brushed cotton duvet cover and pillow cases, still new in packaging. Then there was a little VTech handheld sound and light thing for my nine month old granddaughter who is at the age of wanting to press buttons all the time and I’d rather she didn’t do this with the TV remote 🤣
Finally I bought a really useful ‘adjustable’ cake tin - an oblong non-stick tray bake which has repositionable cubes so you can bake cakes in whatever number or letter shape you wish. I think it’s something I may have seen in Lakeland before but it was pricey. I have been silently hankering after one for a while, so for £3 it got snapped up!9 -
Their cheapest at £40 is way over budget - I'm hoping for a chazzer bargain, not to blow a month's disposable income![Deleted User] said:Sheepskin ???
