Sheepskin for £2.50 is a bargain!

Which reminds me, I want to ask you all for your opinion on something if yous don't mind? Is it ok to splurge on something and justify it with all the 'savings' you've made by buying cs stuff (that you probably didn't actually need, but that isn't the point)?

I've seen something I really want (only mildly need), but it's dear. Justifying it like this is alright innit...?
If you can afford it and will wear it/use it, I'd buy it.
I have a separate bank account for my eBay sales and if I see something I want, I buy it from that account.
My purchases from charity shops usually come out of our joint account but I don't tend to buy really expensive stuff.
The £4.50 I spent yesterday is less than the cost of a takeaway for one and less than a drink each in the pub.

Now that's a good idea - I can set up a pot in my Monzo account. Thank you!

Here are my gloves and exercise top.
The gloves have the long fur all the way into the fingers.
    Very snuggly.

Current pair - not dead but not as warm as they used to be….

I would buy the new ones on safety grounds - those soles look likely to be perilous!

    You need new slippers!
Do you want the same brand or are you looking around?

I bought some UGG-style boots from an online shop called KIWI sheepskins.
They are based in New Zealand.
    I wear them as slippers.

I'm lucky that I can wear kids sizing.

No idea how the price compares but the shipping is incredibly fast.

I also bought me and my friend a pair of possum merino gloves in heather colour. They are really warm and we both love them.

    From their website:

New Zealand possum fur is characterised by its short and fine fibre which has a uniquely hollow structure. This unique hollow structure is what makes possum fur so special. In fact, the hollow fibre structure is only found in one other animal, the polar bear. As a result of its fibre, possum fur has unrivalled heat retention and insulation properties. It is uncannily lightweight and soft to the touch making the fur perfect to wear year-round. On its own merino wool is a beautiful yarn that produces stunning knitwear. However, when we combine with possum fur and add in a little mulberry silk, it produces a luxurious blend that is both soft, lightweight and perfect for all seasons.

Our possum merino blend is 35% warmer than other common wools and an amazing 55% warmer than cashmere alone, making it perfect for winter, but because of the breathability and lightweight nature it is ideal for many other occasions such as travelling.

Just to say I have no affiliation to this company.
