Piggers - I also want reindeers. Or green sparkley. Love them.
YL - I also lost a lot of people who I thought were friends when DD was first diagnosed. People who literally crossed the street either in case she was contagious or to avoid having to say anything to me. I probably have less true friends than I can count on one hand now - current company excepted of course. DBiL on the other hand thinks that anyone who “friends” him on FB is a friend, such is the way his simple mind works!

So this morning’s flying seems to have consisted in turning the DR and utility room into widow twankey’s laundry. One more load of jumpers swishing, no idea where I am going to drape those atm. I have also stripped and remade our bed, so that is queuing for the wm slot tomorrow morning before I go to work. I have also cleaned the ensuite and the downstairs toilet, just mirrors to sparkle, plus the main bathroom now that DD is back using it again.
Jobs for the rest of the day:
clean bathroom
run dw
take DD for booster at big town hospital
finish present wrapping - the end is definitely in sight
make a veggie curry for dinner, maybe sling it into the sc so that it smells good when we get home
continue to have green tick envy (looking at you here, Round 😉)
sort my CPD records out - whoops, but this one unlikely to happen today, yawn.

I am sure that there will be more.  I am back to work tomorrow until end of play on Christmas eve.

Inspired by Valli I have sorted my main handbag.  Need to put a little hairbrush in there. No idea what happened to the one I thought was in there.
Thanks for asking Fayolle.  Just the cough bothering me now, I was more poorly last week when all tests were negative.  Fortunately I didn't actually go anywhere except the vet yesterday which was all socially distanced, masked and sanitised anyway which is probably all any of us can do going forward.

I'm not feeling very festive but definitely looking forward to having time with OH & DDs.  The tree is up here and in the other house and we've had a few Christmas cards, we will be following French tradition of sending New Year cards, this means we have until the end of January to send them.  I only need to sort one Christmas card for the lady who feeds my cats as she's very devout and appreciates a Christmas card.  It's also easier with some of our non Christian friends.

Lunch made and eaten
DD2 problem sorted (internet provider and moving)
Shelf of scarves sorted, several in give away box
Bin taken out, recycling out
Managed a brisk all be it short walk with OH, we both feel better for it
Pellets brought in

I really fancy crocheting over the holidays so will go and see what wool I have left and perhaps even order some.  I have a pile of granny squares on the go using up leftovers but really fancy doing an extra chunky crocket blanket.  Not really bought much wool since I've lived here, I feel an afternoon perusing the internet.  But I promise I will do another shelf in the wardrobe

Afternoon Folks

we have had an offer on DG’s house. It is £10K over the offers over figure. It came before the house went live online this morning. We now are deciding whether to accept or to see what interest is generated 

towel wash is in progress 

I have received the unconditional job offer so when they process the data from the further hoops I have jumped through I may get a start date for January.

DM, I would sit and wait over the weekend at least before making an decision.  You may get other offers.

Get the EA to check the status of the proposed purchasers, ie have they sold, do they have the money, are they in a chain etc.
