Well done Round.
I got distracted by a knitting pattern in my magazine so have started on a baby cardigan.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Well done, Round x
Bread is brewing in the airing cupboard, lunch concocted from leftovers, including vegetable fritters. I will do a few more rows of DSiL’s shrug, even though she has just cancelled coming to see us. I need this knitting out of the way, as there is more in the queue. Then I can lust over my new bread making book for an hour or so.
I am wearing an elasticated waist skirt. ‘Nuff said…9 -
Thank the gods that’s over for another year!
Worn out, fed up, kids fed up too with so many people being here. At 11am tomorrow the last people go and I can reclaim some calm. Love to all xx

Wow, round - a great achievement! I remember when you first started decluttering one thing at a time - it's great that you've found a system that works for you xx
Well done on surviving the onslaught, asb - I prescribe zzz for you tomorrow afternoon xxx
Many thanks to my Secret Santa for the notebook. How lovely that it has plain pages for drawing plans and dreams
We have had a quiet couple of days. Apart from church, my main activities have been cooking (which I do enjoy) and walking Rosie, though she refused to go out in the rain yesterday. We rang DH's sister in London this evening to thank her for her gifts, and it turns out that she has been diagnosed with shingles too! I feel that I have had a lucky escape...
I have flown for all of 10 minutes today: 5 minutes ironing, and 5 minutes putting away the Christmas presents we received, to make room for the newly wrapped parcels to be distributed when my DC and DGC come on Wednesday.
See you all on the new thread!
