Merry Christmas to all of you lovely ladies xx Not lifted a finger yet, not dressed, not going anywhere…bliss. I hope all poorlies feel better as the day goes on. Take care, feel the flylady love, and thank you all for being you xx
ETA - GI, ‘tis but a day. Another one will come around. Take care x10 -
I will catch up with Fred as soon as I can, but in the meantime I just wanted to say Merrry Christmas to all Flyladies past and present, and to thank everyone for the lovely cards. I forgot to say that I received my FlyGift weeks ago and have been admiring it ever since and am looking forward to opening it later. The FlyGift I sent may have had a recycled label on it from another Flylady at sometime in the past - it was much too pretty to dispose of, so I re-used it instead - very green. The turkey's in, the dog's walked, and main meal slightly rethought because a stray guest told me at 7.30pm last night that he's a vegan.Better is good enough.9

GI its awful, DS feels guilty. As if he chose to have this at Christmas.
A few presents opened, DS2 at one end of the room and us at the other, all wearing masks with patio doors open. DS2 now back in his room. DS1 messaged to say he just wants to be at home with us. He is going to grandparents and Mum will make a big fuss of him.
Happy Christmas to my Flylady family and much love to you all. As someone else says my life is so much better for having you in it xx11 -
My sister had second +ve LFT..
Boog a bit less lurgied..
DD1 woke up to someone having taken £300 out of her bank so she had to ring the fraud line about that and cancel her card etc. They refunded straight away.. then the police turned up to tell her a lady she spoke to yesterday didn't return home and if she knew where she had gone.. she is 70 with dementia.. the lady, not my daughter.. so now she is worrying about her, and her dog, Princess..
But.. Merry Christmas everyone.. Whether plagued or not..
GI .. it is not your fault you are ill.. regardless of what you are unwell with.. this happens and there isn't much anyone can do about it. It is a wild virus the same as all the rest we succumb to, no one can avoid it, it's like trying to avoid oxygen! I hope you don't feel too bad. My sister just feels like she has a chest infection, but the lady at nail shop said hers was like a bad cold.

kaz That is wonderful news and reminds me that I forgot to say that DD2 got engaged on Tuesday! They are planning to get married in July 23. At least that is something to look forward to 😁

Evening all. Congratulations to all those newly engaged. I hope the poorlies feel better soon.
I still have my post Covid cough, but today went exactly as planned. Lovely to spend a first Christmas with our grandchildren. Lots of lovely presents and food too.
Tomorrow DH and I have a day off together and just plan to relax mostly.Spend less now, work less later.11
