Dining room table now just about clear. OH can work on it tomorrow. Few other bits and bobs filed away. Paperwork for sale of car sorted and sent to buyer, hopefully that should be sorted by the end of tomorrow. Flowers ordered to be delivered to SMum & Ssis as we can't see them. Not sending anything for the little ones, I've said they can choose beach toys next time they come to us. They usually come for a week or so to the other house by the beach

unfortunately not. They are very low on funding and are struggling with registered animals and they do not offer such expert care and they would recommend euthanasia. We have tried a few different animal charities and they just say it isn't something they can do for one person because they would have to do for all.
We know it can get better, many years ago my mother old dachshund had a similar injury and she healed well without surgery but he is bigger and younger and heavier so while he can improve it can not heal fully without surgery which has an excellent success rate.

Thank you all for your thoughts and wishes. You really are a lovely bunch, don’t know what I would do without you xx
The hospital was operating at its most efficient, NHS truly at its best - in, registered, updated details already held, see consultant’s minion, out again in 20 minutes. Shame that there was no xray, and mri now booked for 4-6 weeks time. So we carry on and await the next appointment.
Most of the presents, apart from stockings, are wrapped. Unheard of, on 20th. Sausage rolls made, which is a Fayolle household sign that it is Christmas. Veggie version cobbled together. They taste a bit like stuffing rolls, but not at all unpleasant. Dinner cooked, using some of the contents of the Mr L veg box that DH picked up the other day. The boxes were piled high, and people walking past them. Luckily he is well trained and he brought one home.Piggers - picture of the Christmas nails?11 -
Cant believe that was a year ago Fayolle I know how tricky these anniversaries can be. Hugs x
And Pigpen thats so sad, really hope she manages to raise enough money.
As for friends, well it probably explains why I dont really have any (present company excepted of course). For me a lot of that relates to the time when DS first became ill and the general lack of understanding from people especially around the mental health stuff.
So today I shut myself away and forced myself to concentrate on 7 hours paid stuff. Chimney sweep has been. Small load of washing over the airer. I have to drive the old car tomorrow which I am anxious about. Last day in the office before Christmas. Off to do some yoga now then get into bed with my book.

That's it, off work for almost 3 weeks now - apart from the fact that I might have to take the PE shed key back, which I brought home in my hoody pocket. I'm hoping, given PE kits have gone home, that it won't be needed
