Eric Stanley Lock, DSO, DFC & Bar, RAF pilot, born 1919 - died 1941 aged 22.
Within less than six months of becoming one of the most famous RAF pilots in the country, he crash-landed in the English Channel after his Supermarine Spitfire was damaged by ground-fire. Lock was posted missing in action. He was never seen again.

So you and two others speak for Britain !Ok this is my last word the last 2 pages will be deleted anyway. What triggered you people ? Was it the WW2 theme pilots who happened to be tory toffs, you weren’t smart enough to know that right?
Why not have Charles Dickens on your bank card, or John Harrison, or maybe for the youngsters J.K.Rowling. It was just an idea i had nothing more nothing less.

There is no doubt that he was a hero, as were all the other thousands of brave men and women who served our country in so many different organisations.
But to talk about a top scorer to my mind is in bad taste.0 -
Anyway, back on topic, do Capital One still let you choose from a range of card designs? I remember having the one with the lightning strike on back in the early noughties. Those were the days.0

Frankly, it looks like it belongs to a kids deposit account. I can't take it seriously. It's quite hideous!
Also, the the expiry date on it is a year earlier than the one it's replacing.
Who thought this was a good idea?0
