I would love to be part of the 2022 challenge. It made such a big difference and helped me stay focussed throughout the year.
Can I aim for £12k and be the same number again please? I was number 20 in 2021.2 -
To all of you asking for the same number again, it really adds to the workload of setting the new one up for @slowlyfading. This challenge has always been numbered in the order people arrive, with two; slowlyfading, who runs it and geoffers4 who (I believe) maintains the all years totals spreadsheet, or maybe three exceptions - the earlier you ask to join, the lower your number you are allocated, with a different number every year, filling up from the top - so please don't be disappointed if you don't get the same number as last year, and please give her a break over ChristmasSave £12k in 2025 #2 I saved £14,660.97 of £6000 or 244.35% of my target. The 2026 Save £12k in 2026 thread is here
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026

I've been checking in on everyone throughout most of this year, fantastic saving everyone.
I'd like to get involved in 2022. It'll be really tough and not without significant sacrifices but I need to set a target of £20k.Save 12k in 2022 #33 0/20k1 -
Spreadsheet has been updated with everyone added to this point
Some people's numbers have changed - apologies if that's a disappointment but it just makes it slightly easier from my point of view.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
