I would love to be part of the 2022 challenge. It made such a big difference and helped me stay focussed throughout the year.
Can I aim for £12k and be the same number again please? I was number 20 in 2021.

To all of you asking for the same number again, it really adds to the workload of setting the new one up for @slowlyfading. This challenge has always been numbered in the order people arrive, with two; slowlyfading, who runs it and geoffers4 who (I believe) maintains the all years totals spreadsheet, or maybe three exceptions - the earlier you ask to join, the lower your number you are allocated, with a different number every year, filling up from the top - so please don't be disappointed if you don't get the same number as last year, and please give her a break over Christmas

I've been checking in on everyone throughout most of this year, fantastic saving everyone.

I'd like to get involved in 2022. It'll be really tough and not without significant sacrifices  but I need to set a target of £20k.
