Really?  Trustpilot says otherwise and it would be fair to let @bargepole reply.

Any problem with the rest of the show or what people like me and David and all the regulars here do?  Got an opinion about private parking?

Always happy to discuss views and experiences but don't single people out.

Interesting to see they mentioned and interviewed David Carrod.

Based on a Google search his firm doesn’t seem too popular and even now says “Permanently Closed”.
Permanently closed??? It's not even temporarily closed. I'm still catching up with the flood of enquiries that came in since the programme was broadcast.

The usual slew of highly suspect court claims issued, and people asking for help with defences, representation, etc. I'll be looking forward to sending the parking company advocates away from court hearings with their tails between their legs.

My sincere apologies! I was doing a quick Google from my phone at the time after being very impressed with David during his interview on the programme.

In trying to find the name he traded under my earlier Google search led me to Private Parking Appeals Ltd, but a more thorough search just now from that showed that David is not part of that company any longer.

I shall edit my above post.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes, I found this when I managed to get back to a PC rather than on my phone.

This link is also misleading: https://contactout.com/David-Carrod-5106371

What does he trade under now please?

You know, Private Parking Appeals Ltd was one of those companies which was set up to help motorists but was destroyed but a particular person, not Coupon or Bargepole.
It's dead in the water and I mean DEAD

About David, you probably missed this link in the Law Society Gazzette
    https://www.lawgazette.co.uk/david-carrod/4714.publicprofile

    The article serves as credibility

The question you must ask is ... why do the government allow the biggest scam operating in the UK today

You got it right but it was in fact destroyed by two people whose agenda wasn't the same as mine and @bargepole's and we found out too late.  But that - and those people, and that company - are history.
Yes, forgot about "her indoors" ?

I have engaged Mr Carrod  in two claims I have taken to court, recently.  Neither concerned parking matters.  We have won both, and it is  likely that I will use him again shortly.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Further to my earlier comments and so much useful information on here another thing has struck me:
There is no doubt that people(including me) are easily confused by the terms PCN and PCN (penalty/parking charge notice for those who are unaware) and the fact that the notices at first glance ‘seem the same’.
My first thought is why cannot the Penalty Charge Notice be coloured red,for example. I can’t fathom out why this can’t be instigated. Seems a simple solution….but who am I to question why?
