  • I know of many motorists up here in Scotland who completely ignore every letter regarding these fines and eventually sometimes as long as 2 years later they stop and you don't here anymore about it. How can they even prove they were delivered to your address as they arent sent by registered post. Ignore Ignore Ignore and do not ever correspond is the norm for dealing with it by many.

Are you unaware that the law is changing next year?  PPCs will be all over multi-ticket cases in Scottish courts in future, pour encourager les autres.

You will not be able to ignore private parking charges any more, but the good thing is, there will be a more robust Code of Practice and a Single Appeals Service.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What this needs is something adding to the sticky listing names of people involved in the PPC industry who have known published  criminal convictions  - a rogues gallery so to speak.
Got to be careful putting people's names in threads, as they could be deleted (the thread not the people) and we don't want the sticky to suffer that fate!
Not sure why that should be, if someone has a criminal conviction and its public knowledge, and its in the interest of fighting a parking company off/getting a parking ticket cancelled then it should be made plain and clear .

Same goes for any company director/owner/founder, and so on

So why the cageyness about naming known individuals and highlighting their past when its relevant to getting a parking ticket cancelled by a landowner and/or the parking company being removed?

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"
  • Certainly plenty advise and information on here and a lot of reading,  but as I asked in my previous post  how can they even prove they were delivered to your address as they were not  sent by registered post.
