This thread is nearly 2 years old.

£30k from a book  seems too good to be true, so it probably is!

no its called get off your backside and work dam hard!

Implementing tips and tools from the book i was able to conduct my sales more efficiently and effectively and make 30k.

Read Martins book, about the chap that easily made £1k by selling the crap in his attic. Do that then trade wholesale on there for a couple years and £30k is a very realistic target!

I do work damn hard in life doesn't mean I can easily and realistically make £30k in 2 years.

If I had a pound for every email or website that started off with "make 30K a year in your spare time" or similar...well, you know the rest.

well all i can say is if you guys can't make 30k in 2 years outside your day jobs then.......well......to be honest i'm amazed.

An example....i have a day job that takes up my time 8-6.

    I also DJ @ ~ £15,600 py

I have a website that makes ~ £24,000 py on advertising and donations.

and ebay sales at ~ £10,000 py now

So outside a normal job i make £49,606 per year. This is just utilising my skills that i have to give me different income streams. Everyone has skills and hobbys....the key is using them to benefit you!

There is so much money to be made in this world just utilising your skills and using resources all over the internet. I make more money than the above amount through other ventures and consultancy, i didnt list these as they are more professional roles....the above 3 examples most people here could do.

I'm actually quite shocked at the negativity of the last two posters!

I think people make the mistake of equating money with happiness. I am content with what I make and prefer to actually turn down some work and spend time with my family.

    Soo

i'm not equating money with happiness.

All i am saying is don't dismiss the fact that it is easy to make money in your spare time if you wish to. Certainly 30k on ebay is not unrealistic.

That was all i was trying to point out

I would say to make £30k in 2 years on eBay is very unrealistic.

Not every person can make money that easily because to make money you have to put in a lot which many just don't have. So in reality for many it just isn't possible.

If you truly are doing all mentioned in your above post then you must have very little time for anything else. I work 6 days a week and that exhausts me. I can't imagine trading on eBay and making £10k a year. You must be forever packing and posting.

depends what you sell! I'm selling cisco network equipment. Can sell units for £500 a piece having paid £350-£450 for each one. So per unit i am making £50-£150 profit.

I'll let you do the maths but i dont need to sell anymore than 2 or 3 a week

Thats one trip to the post office on a monday and upto £450 in the pocket every week
