@Baileys_Babe his own money is in the highest interest ISA that we could find and his maintenance loan is in the highest instant access just in case he does actually need to use some of it.
I know @Sun_Addict. I messaged her to tell her we wouldn't be dropping her presents off in case we gave her our germs and she texted me back to let me know that she'd outdone both of us. At least we'll be able to call in on her for coffee when we're all better and she's out of hospital.
I think that I'm going to suggest an Ebeneezer pot to my sister too. She's still of the mindset that if there is money in her account it must be spent (every last penny) so this could be interesting.
I've made mince pies this afternoon. I only made a dozen so half each for me and best friend. I'll make a few more next week when everyone has finished eating Christmas dinner food. All presents are wrapped and ready - this is the first year for a very long time that the HT's gifts have been wrapped this early. I'm spending the afternoon with bf tomorrow then he's going to family and I will spend the evening with the HT.

Good to hear he is earning interest on the maintenance loan money, but it has been put somewhere accessible in case of need.

Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🎁🎄🥂
If anyone is feeling a bit lonely come over to "x" formerly known as "Twitt3r" and #Joinin. I usually find a couple of hours to chat over Christmas and New Year because being able to talk to people also on their own once my House Troll had gone to bed made the world of difference when he was younger. It's not miserable, it's just a bunch of solo people talking to other solo people. Some folk are having a hard time obviously but it's good to talk (as that annoying bird used to say in the adverts).5 -
Merry Christmas Cranky, hope you have a lovely day- looking forward to the update on the PJs! 😁
I usually try to pop over to twitter for #JoinIn too, it's amazing how much a reciprocal kind comment can lift Christmas for all involved, including people just reading the hashtag x3 -
Merry Christmas Cranky. Hope you can get a picture when he opens the PJs. Looking forward to more posts.3

Great mention for #JoinIn - I do hope that Mu5k’s determination to destroy Twitt3r doesn’t affect it.

Merry Christmas 🎄 Someone at work does a Teams chat on Christmas Day for those on their own or anyone who needs some time out. I think it’s a lovely idea and apparently quite a few turn up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
