You are such a nice person, I would love to have someone like you living by me x
For all you know I might. I live near a river that Gerry Marsden sang about. I'm not that nice, I'm a regular thorn in the side of my best friend but I do make him cakes and biscuits to make up for it (and today I put WD40 in the locks of all of his french windows because the keys kept getting stuck).
oooh i'm not that far from you so what time shall i be round for pizza  :D
Whenever you like. We could do a mini meet in Hotel Chocolat to make @WinterWarrior really jealous 🤣🤣🤣

Cranky for some reason I had decided you live in Essex - I was most perplexed by the Jerry and the pacemakers clue 🤷‍♀️

@Blackcats I'v been to Southend once. Does that help? Dad made us walk the entire length of the pier 🙄
  • I've never walked right out on the pier Cranky so you're ahead of me there! I've walked as far as the end of the railway line but never further than that.

@EssexHebridean - Our dad believed in money saving too and it was free to walk down the pier. He also refused to pay to go up past the whispering gallery in St Paul's cathedral (did that myself once I was old enough) and we only saw Brighton pavilion from the outside (the inside is still on my list of things to see).

Black cats, I forgot to say that I've lived in London, Kent (Sittingbourne) and also West Wales just north of Carmarthen too. I still ended up back where I started though.

I grew up on a council estate smack bang between Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common so these were our days out, interspersed with trips to the free Museums. Happy days.

    Hello all,

NSD yesterday - I went for a chat with best friend's next door neighbour who is recovering from a broken hip then I went for a coffee with best friend and we did a crossword. After that it was home to make our roast dinner for just the two of us as HT's partner stayed home and had their hair cut this weekend.

On Saturday I booked the hotel for our mid week break in London. HT and partner in one room, my sister and I in the other. I'm really looking forward to it. I had a face on the latter end of the week because of another chat with the PIP people about the HT. Talking about his problems always makes me sad but it's sorted now so that's another job ticked off the list and I've cheered up again.

Two of us for lunch today and three for dinner. LAP is back to normal and going to his centre during the day.

Take care all of you 😊

Ooh a mid week break in London sounds fabulous. I love London. Glad you got HT’s PIP sorted.
