You are such a nice person, I would love to have someone like you living by me x3

It's horrible isn't it @Sun_Addict? It;s like a big list of things they can't do and which is never going to be fixed. Luckily all the people that I've spoken to have been very kind and sympathetic.
I'm no angel I promise you but I like to lend a hand where I can.

That's the one. The first time that I went on the ferry across the Irish Sea to see my sister (back in the day when we couldn't afford to fly) I was amazed when we sailed into Cork harbour and the sea water was see through. I'd only ever seen the river here and the Thames. They are both definitely not clear water, lol.2

Are you proper broad Liverpudlian? At work we had some contractors putting in a new IT system and they were from Liverpool. I was fascinated listening to them talk but couldn’t understand a word they were saying 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

No, I've lived in London too and somewhere the accents crossed and I can occasionally sound like I come from Birmingham. A lot of people say that they can't place my accent. I can turn cockney at the drop of a hat and once reduced the price of a handbag by £10 in Camden by telling the vendor that I wasn't a tourist. My son walked away while I was telling them off for overcharging people who weren't tourists. I told you I wasn't nice 🤣🤣🤣2

I forgot to mention that the iron went bang yesterday and tripped all the sockets. I did say before Christmas that it needed replacing as the wires were visible where the covering had worn away but it has now taken matters out of my hands itself. £20 this morning for a replacement from the house fund and £4 for a long flat microfibre thing on a stick that I used to fish out all the stuff that the cat has hidden inder the dresser and bookcase. I gave the last one to best friend when he was having condensation problems with a sky light. I told him that he could keep it if it was useful.
I have no idea if the HT's partner is putting in an appearance this weekend or if they're having a weekend at home to help their mum. The fridge is full of pizza which can go in the freezer if it's a no show. There's always someone available to eat pizza here.1 -
