Morning all xx
What a week! New phone system went live at work on Wednesday. The words !!!!!! up and brewery may have escaped my lips....toeing the corporate line is not my strongest point 🤣. Then the Thursday commute to work caused a meltdown as I got caught up in a blizzard- turned round and came home!! 😳. Panic attack. Eventually arrived at work at 10 am....when the sun was shining.
I'm so glad it's Saturday. And I can hibernate at home with Sweetie and recover somewhat....ready for next week's episode.
Flying has been even more minimal than usual. And I've not been eating properly. Which doesn't help me in the battle to stay mentally stable. However the birds have been fed all week and a birthday card was posted in good time thanks to previous efforts at organisation.
Round 1
Brew 2 and breakfast
Take clean, dry washing upstairs
Shower & wash hair
Get dressed
Bring down laundry hamper
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
Feed the birds
Put out rubbish and recycling
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Coffee
That'll clear the decks.
Love to all. Great news Kaz xx Spondulix for piggers yayyy. Hugs and calming vibes to you all

Morning all,
So we’ve made it through to another weekend, then. And I’ve made it through yet another week with very little (some might say, no) flying… so it’s time to pull my socks up, unearth the vacuum cleaner, remember how to clean the bathroom.
My best bet might be to get dressed first, then start the day for real. And maybe hide my book so that I don’t have that as a distraction (aka excuse).
Hugs to all, especially to those who have had a particularly tough week, whether that be at paid stuff, or just in life xx10 -

Lovely sunny but chilly morning so I went for a swim. Gasp. 4-5 degrees apparently, but very pretty. DB and Mr N watched from the cafe and lined up a hot chocolate for me when I got out.
Spent rest of the day chatting with DB really - vague plans for Christmas day, catching up with life etc.
New patio is looking good. Tomorrow I think we can start putting pots etc back on it.
Filled bird feeders, no sign of fairies yet.
Did a bit of a report.
Hardly worth posting really unless I've done something that I've forgotten......Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Round I had a rubbish drive to work too, why was there only snow and ice on my side of the road? Hate driving in it and I hate the fact that I have a work colleague who will drive in anything and doesnt think its a problem.
So, last day of my 5 days off work, although I am not sure where it went and I dont feel particularly rested. Lovely to have the family around last night but it was a lot of work (and I didnt do myself any favours by drinking too much wine!). Another family gathering today at a Christening, but at least I just have to turn up for that.
DW and WM are on, one load of clean washing to put away when DH and DS are awake, kitchen floor could do with a hoover and mop and there is leftover food to find a home for.
13 days left at work before the holidays, its going to be very busy but I will try not to let it get to me!10 -
Morning all.
I am sorting the cupboard of doom today so send out a search party later if you don't hear from me.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.11
