Kitchen S&S'd, LR tidied.

It's a beautiful day so I have told DH I want to put up the lights in the front garden and need his help.  He was not impressed!  All he has to do is unravel the strings and feed them up to me so that I can clip them on to the gutters (we live in a chalet bungalow, so the gutters are within my reach from the stepladder).

Apart from that, after her walk Rosie will need a bath before I administer her anti-flea.  She will not be impressed either.  

Tough.

To annoy OH's employer he has booked Mothers day weekend off.. the entirety of half term and every Sunday he had hours for and 3 days after New Year.. I am REALLY hoping he gets a new job in the next 2 weeks.. I am not any less ragey today..

Pigpen, I would be ragey too.  

What should have been a quick email or three has turned into hours of work because I appear to have deleted an essential list of names and addresses.  GRRRRR.

ETA:
...and having just written that, I have just found the original list stuck on the end of another list.  GRRRRR.  It still needs updating.

Hello.  Lots of grrrr today.
We are surrounded locally by white stuff but the village is clear so far.  Must be the micro climate created by the power station!
 I have done my first work shift, done dailies, hoovered through and walked dogs.

Pigpen I can feel your rage and have lots of sympathy, although not sure that helps much.

Feeling a bit flat here, not sure why.  Have wrapped some presents, updated my C present spreadsheet, received the food delivery and put most of it away.  Very very cold out but sunny, should probably get myself out for a walk but dont feel very motivated.

We have to take the dog to the vet for a prescription check up later (which is stressful) and then I have to go in to work for a bit (even though I am technically on holiday).

Might make myself something to eat and read my book.  My windows are filthy after all the stormy weather, there is clean washing to put away and the floors could do with a hoover.  Hoovering might just about be possible in my current mood but anything else will have to wait.

I have quickly bathed the dogs and the window cleaner has been so once I've had lunch, I'll clean the windows inside, although the living room ones I did at the weekend so they're still okay.

I have taken delivery of many more CP's.. Created my mother a spread sheet of people/items/cost/ordered/delivered... and the all important balance she owes me.. looking at being about £500 BUT.. that will pay for dance/swimming/drama/music classes for the next term..

Loo, shower, clothes and I might look at laundry.. or a dishwasher.. or cat trays.. or I might not...

OH at work.. I am STILL mad!

Skulking in....with the threat of attempting some flying...I have caught up on Fred with a cuppa first, cos its all about priorities.

I have done a few bits since my last post, but not a lot. More workmen in yesterday as I have a Leylandii which was overdue for mutilation by about 3 metres. So I now have a tiny streak of sunlight streaming onto my back garden wall, so I am a happy bunny.

I think it is time for a MAD half hour, because the school run is looming and I really can't do too much else atm. I have DD3 coming home for dinner tonight, and its going to be freezer surprise, but we will see!

I will check in a bit later...hugs sticks and spoons for everyone xx
