Morning all,
Yesterday’s flying frenzy consisted of dusting and vacuuming the whole house and cleaning the bathroom and ensuite. In the afternoon I went for a blowy and chilly walk . The views were stunning under a blue sky - I’m lucky that they are literally on my doorstep. Roast dinner cooked, kitchen tidied away and dw run.
DH is still playing the man flu card. He was strangely well enough to eat a double portion of last night’s roast dinner and a portion of gooseberry cobbler…
Today I need to shine the mirror in the ensuite that I didn’t do yesterday, clean the downstairs grot of a toilet, wash my car (the nice views give me a payback of muddy lanes), and (apparently, according to DH) go to the allotment to see if the last of the carrots are worth digging. Bang goes the plan to finish knitting a present and to write the C-cards then.
Off to search for a miner’s lamp in case Jazee needs rescuing…
Have a lovely day all xx9 -

Yesterday was disappointing on the crabapple front. My reliable recipe for crabapple, orange and cider jelly was a disaster - two batches yielded three and a half jars and it should have been a dozen. I have a feeling a crowbar will be needed to lever it out of the jars. The second batch of plain jelly was quick and easy. More to make, but I'm not keen.I have crossed my last 'I must do that soon' commitment to other people off my list. I suggested a lunch at a really super dooper fab place to some people last summer and never got round to organising it. I have now booked for eight of us in late January and sent out the relevant emails. If I haven't had replies back from them within a week I'm pulling the invitations from those people. My Room of Doom is even more chaotic than it was this time last week. There is not a single surface that is clear.

Wool for Dr Who scarves has arrived so as soon as I have finished the last HP scarf I can get those started.. I am hoping to sell one to cover the cost of all 4..
I feel truly dreadful today, thankfully it is pizza day at school tomorrow so I don't have to do pack ups... I might fling corned dog in the SC.. Boog can eat it or starve.. I don't actually care any more. At nearly 23 it is not my responsibility. The girls can have freezer !!!!!!.
I need to get dressed before I freeze to death, load DW and both WM's.. feed the imps lunch and then I can just knit the day away and take lots of medication and be sorry for myself.
Oh.. and topcashback is waaaaay better than Qu1dco atm.. I've accumulated almost £200 in the last 3 months..

The cupboard of doom is done, you can call off the search party. It's mainly been about making room for all the baby stuff which has been accumulating.
My arm is really sore from the jab yesterday, not had that before, so I've not been able to walk the dogs as I couldn't manage to manoeuvre Littleydogs pushchair.
just having a cuppa and popcorn, then I'm going to have a soak in the bath.
Tomorrow is another day, see you on the new thread.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
