Many threads showing 13th February as the latest post.
Perhaps MSE Towers love us all so much they just want Valentine's Day all over again
I just noticed that the "sub-threads" under "Money Saving" have vanished from the top level menu. For example "Green & Ethical Money Saving"0 -

We are regularly checking on this with our provider.
Members who have been following this issue will be aware several possible fixes have been tried in the past, but ultimately the issue has turned out more complex than thought and there is still an issue to be addressed.
This is a separate issue.Grumpy_chap said:I just noticed that the "sub-threads" under "Money Saving" have vanished from the top level menu. For example "Green & Ethical Money Saving"
For some time we have three main boards - Shopping & Freebies, MoneySaving, and Local - which were really supposed to be holding categories with posts only allowed on the sub-boards. But technical limitations meant we could not prevent posts being added there.
We've put in a fix now so that you can now only post on the sub-boards, but there was a temporary issue where the sub-boards would not always show on the main index. This should be fixed now.Join the MSE Forum

It would be good for MSE to post on this thread when it happens, so we are aware it is being looked into.MSE_Stephen said:

Can we please ditch this amateur offering and move to software similar to that used by the LemonFool forum. Clean and business like look and it works.0

That will not fix this particular problem. There has already been a new front end tacked on which did not fix it so the problem must be some form of corruption within the underlying post data.Troytempest said:Can we please ditch this amateur offering and move to software similar to that used by the LemonFool forum. The software used by LemonFool.co.uk is a completely different package from a different supplier which I believe is far more widely used in the forum sector.0
