    A lot of the boards seem to be showing 31st January or 1st February as the latest post.

    Yes, Ive got that. They are all today, 1st feb, 31st jan or an earlier date. Ive looked on my Wndows PC and iphone Safari and they are both the same.

    An absolute car crash - stems from not dealing it with it properly before and hoping a rubbish new front end would solve it.
    As I said before, this is simply a software error so get firm with the supplier and insist they fix it.

    I admire your optimism @molerat. Unfortunately as a long time IT professional, I can assure you it has not fixed itself. It looks to me like it occurs when  an as yet diagnosed set of circumstances surrounding dates / times happens. I suspect that MSE will ignore it until it worsens.
