The problem also seems to be limiting engagement across the boards - when this issue spikes up there seem to be fewer posts. Partly, I assume, because people see the old date and think nothing new has been posted.0

I am certainly using the site less than before which is a shame.0

I had little faith in them coming up with something "in a couple of weeks" when they hadn't found the problem in the best part of 2 years.

Here is another instance, snapped a few moments ago, where the 'most recent' box is entirely empty...
I last mentioned this particular variation on 30 May at 5:56PM but I have no idea if anyone ever read that post - they certainly didn't bother to acknowledge it in any way.
Perhaps this is a different issue that should be progressed/reported in a separate thread.
Without any feedback, I'll leave it here.0 -
Hi @KeithP - just confirming we're aware that sometimes the latest post space is completely blank. So far as we are aware it's part of the same issue as the wrong dates being displayed.
The Forum Team is continuing to seek a resolution to this issue as we're well aware how frustrating it is.Official MSE Forum Team member. Please report all problem posts to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com1 -
As a software engineer I'm actually finding this issue funny, although that's more to do with the incompetence of whoever is "trying" to fix the issue. This really shouldn't be a difficult bug to fix, so it sounds like they've given it a a junior dev and are fobbing MSE off with fluff about when it'll be fixed.
I'm sure there are enough people on the forums (myself included) who'd be able to fix the issue - maybe we should offer our services for a fraction of the SLA cost to the current provider???2 -
Embarrassing for MSE to allow this continual fobbing off.....1

Here is another occurrence of a blank 'most recent' box seen a just few minutes ago...

Still happening now, look at the ISA sub board on Savings and Investments.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
