Barclays Blue Rewards

I switched my Barclays Blue Rewards to Santander - the switch completed today, 3rd March.
I had timed it to get the last rewards payment on the 2nd as usual, but like others above, the payment didn't arrive on the 2nd. So no last reward for me.
Account now closed, but I just got a text from Barclays telling me my account (the one that doesn't now exist) has 'exceeded its borrowing limit' - i.e. is overdrawn.
I assume this is Barclays trying to take the Blue rewards fee that they should have taken yesterday. If so it's not very intelligent messaging on their part.
It will be interesting to see if they follow this up in any way. The text implies I owe them money - which I clearly don't .
Edited to add: I just tried logging in to Barclays, just to check the account is definitely gone. It was the only product I had with them so, not surprisingly, the login failed, as there is no account. So I cannot be over my borrowing limit on it.1 -

They can take the fee from the last reward they owe you! And send you the remainder

Emptied rewards account into my main account.
Clicked leave Rewards
App reloaded without Blue Rewards.
Whole thing completed in literally seconds 👍
I also did as the wise one does and also noted that I had earned over £400 in Blue RewardsJust over £500 for me, but remember that doesn't include the £4 a month they charged for being in it.Thanks for all the fish Barclays.

Pretty sure it was June 2018 I joined, so that'd be 45 months at £4/month, so £180 in total. Still over £300 I'll have earned with them net, I guess that's about right for the 2 reward incentives.

Don't forget it was a three pounds fee originally, I can't remember when it changed to four pounds.0

August 2019 it changed to £4 for me

£404 net for me - £532 rewards, £128 fees. My account is now sitting there, ready for a suitable switch offer (hello Chase, are you listening
)
Thank you Barclays.0 -
Also left Blue rewards today, I was quite late to the party on Blue rewards but got a double rewards payment for 1 year when I joined. Switching out to Ulster bank (when they get their act together and let me know if my account is open...). Will consider rejoining if they offer a double blue reward or switching incentive in the future.0
