Thanks @MovingForwards @lucielle @MeandO
I had a lie in and then caught up on some fiction reading which has been nice. I still need to tackle the mess that was left yesterday - and you know perhaps get dressed... The mess is one corner of my living room - and then unpack and pack the dishwasher - but still it feels too big a task for today... Maybe later.
I have however sent a very long email to my MP complaining about the energy mess and BJ and asking him to help fix it. They say you get the government you deserve - so thought I should let them know what I think!! It was also cathartic.

I'm glad you got it off your chest in the right direction. My poor DS has to put up with me ranting. It used to be every few months but it seems like it is virtually every day at present. Have you read the latest? BJ has banned employees from the gardens. What an absolute **** too late we've already seen the photos.

Well done for writing to your MP. We should be giving voice to all the nonsense!
Like you I have been enjoying reading and like you I have cleaning up to do. Like you....later!If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I nipped to HC today and bought some watercolour stuff. I've got more coming via Am****
I also ate at a pub tonight. I've effectively spent some of Feb pay a couple of days early. Ah well. It will work out.
I managed to do the dishwasher so pleased with that and have put a few things away in the lounge. A bit more left to do.
Tonight I've had a play with water colour.

I did them all 4 together - with artist tape separating them. I think I need to practice letting the colours dry between coats more. I also need to pay more attention to ensuring that each picture has a focal point... So other than the key one - I may play with the others a bit more and see what I can do to address that. I also want to work on making my colours more vibrant... I also bought gouache paints recently to play with which are supposed to be good for adding depth of colour... I will see how it goes...
I also did a get well card for someone and then another postcard with massive scrawl with watercolour green, blues and yellow in the background - and then wrote & painted life over the top. I'd share it but I initialled it LOL so best not!

Just popped in to reinforce what @moving_forward said. Go and have a look on the benefits board, the regular posters have put up lots of links which may prove useful.8
