Oops WD. You are allowed minus but at each 12 week point not supposed to be more than minus 5. I was minus 6 by the Friday before my holiday so not great. My workload is ramping up again which should help me get back up again.

It's a feast or famine role and sometimes I am waiting for information from others to do my job or for sign off so then it's harder to get the required hours in.

I'm still doing too many hours, we can only flex the time that week and not carry it forward. If anyone needs spare hours I'll send them to cover yours 😀

    V have a 1yr 4% account.

You'll get there with the pension, AVC and balance it for mortgage needs.

    Thanks EH, MF and Jwil

On the savings - a few are raising their rates so will see what happens before £ shuffling any more.

Very fortunate to have flexi - I'm glad mine isn't like yours MF and carries forwards! Well done Jwil on being exactly 0!

Well the dental bill was worth it. The first bridge is in and looks and feels amazing. I think it will boost my confidence over time as I've been ashamed of the gaps and of previously having dentures that I stopped wearing due to discomfort.  I've therefore gone ahead and booked the second lot in - which will be done in November.  I'm debating whether to also book the one after. There has to be a few weeks gap between appointments to allow your mouth to settle etc. Paid £353 on 0% spends card. I'm going to see if I can claim any back on my health plan. I still haven't booked the osteopath... Might see if I can dig out the details of the health plan and just double check if I'm covered for both at the same time.

Counselling went okay. She's losing the room we're in - this is her 3 or 4th room in a year so that's getting frustrating. The potential solution is therefore to go virtual but I don't want that for every session. I find it much easier to talk to someone face to face - and plus I don't really see many people. So I was a little upset about that. I'm not due to see her again for about 3 weeks as she has a holiday booked - and she's not sure if that will be telephone or in person.... It's £10 cheaper by phone but I'd prefer to pay even £20 extra and have a face-to-face appointment than not. I've not made the latter offer though - will see what comes up.

Taxi service for DD to the gym and back.

I bought myself some Morries lemon cake slices (2). I got some YS carrots 8p for a kg. Got YS lettuce half price, 62p parmentier potatoes and reduced price chicken and black bean £2.08. Full price tangerines.

Last night I bought a digital version of HP - all 8 - as Ex took all the DVDs, TV etc - and it's a series I've traditionally watched on repeat so started re-watching that again.

I've updated my £ - while I wait to see what's happening with sis - leaving a balance on CC. I sent it £150 today but that's not keeping up with spend. I have more than enough to clear it in savings though so trying not to stress about it.

    What is HP?

I don't think it really matters if you don't clear the CC, as long as it's interest free, and you have the £ to pay it off if you need to.
Glad you think the dentist was worth it. Personally, I think it's priceless to gain confidence and it's something that will last a long, long time. AND it's about time that you started putting your needs first!  (((hugs))) XXX

Thanks Crystal. It's the principle of wanting it clear - but you're right I'm still more than debt neutral and it's not costing me anything - even if I end up giving money to sis. Effectively I'm currently stoozing the £ by leaving it in savings.

    and Harry Potter

The potatoes were fab with my garlic chicken. I should have bought more raw potatoes too while I was there but forgot. I've taken out some mackerel to defrost.

The FF I got free in the garage is deep freezing everything and is currently at -26 degrees. I think DD and I are going to have to try and manhandle it into the kitchen and see if that solves the problem. Not sure if it will though. That will mean I have nowhere for the bins though - unless we try and swap the kitchen FF into the garage and see if that one is okay in there...

I told my youngest sis about the energy charity - and she has been able to get a few freebies saving her hundreds of pounds so she is happy about that.

Basically means I'm doing free O/T. Even when I try and leave early to use my time, something gets in the way. Apparently it's due to the pand, but other depts still have flex.

Dentist is well worth the cost. I'm sure your counselor will sort something out, even if it's for a few of the apts.
