We are both in bubbles and doing what we must to get through.
When the time is right you'll find a new church, practice at home or do a mix. The minister was out of order, but maybe that's what they do.
Perhaps you can utilise DD with listing items, she could share a percentage of the profit.

Thanks MF. I think they have a bias to preserving marriage which is understandable if uncomfortable.
I have managed to print which is fab. I still need to fill the form in though and it isn't that easy to understand... Will get there.
BB is still working - so going to WFH and not go in the office. I'm a bit worried about rising infection rates although I'm due in for a live meeting on Monday. Will see if that goes ahead.
I don't want to use DD to help list things... I've offered her the opportunity before and she never followed through.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I'm not even going there with my views on that minister - it does underline for me why I stay as far away from church type things as I possibly can though.
What I will say is that you have no duty to tell anyone anything until you feel that the time is right, and indeed, the time may never be right. It's not something that needs a bulletin board announcement, or a public service message, and although yes, it IS news, the only people for whom is is actually relevant are you, Ex, and the younglings, plus any of your immediate family that you feel you wish to include in that loop. Beyond that it's really only a "point of interest" and announcing it on FB isn't something you ever "have" to do - about anything, in fact!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks EH and GAP
It does help to have unbiased feedback.
I have filled in the life insurance form. Hopefully I have done it correctly.
I have asked Ex to allow time for signing it later.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I have done loads of life admin today or frogs...
- Got the life insurance form signed and witnessed just need to return it now.
- I've done a belated birthday card for my nephew - stamped it - need to post
- I've done my expression of wish form for the third pension - stamped it - need to post.
- I've closed the final joint bank account and made sure they know I'm now divorced. They offered me a loan of a scary amount of ££ without me asking. I said no - as all my remaining CC debt is on 0% anyway.
- I've paid the final part of the mattress on my CC2.
- I've split mine and Ex's dental insurance from Jan. It went up £5... It had a discount on it before - and my teeth were worse - so higher bill anyway.
In probably the best news of the day - I have my Ex dog back for the weekend until Sunday lunchtime. I'm probably going to have to buy her some top up food as Ex didn't leave any but it's nice to have her warm body cuddling up to me again. Will skip the balance class tonight but will take the dog for a walk. I debated whether to have her or not as it's like picking at a wound - but the weather seems a little better so I'll try and fit in lots of walks which will be good for her and me! She smells very strongly of MIL's house. MIL uses plug in air fresheners and I find the smell disgusting - so hoping for light rain LOL. DD was also very happy to have the dog home. The cat is very disappointed and has gone upstairs in protest.

Doggy was very excited to see me - as I was to see her. My cleaner misses her too as she used to take her for a half hour walk each week. Before doggy left I took photos with my cleaner and the dog and sent them to her. DD has kidnapped doggy and taken her off to her room. Good for both of them I'm sure.
I checked out the latest on my energy company. They want a meter reading taken on the 5/12/21. They say keep back a month's worth of direct debit and they'll look to set up a new one and take it around mid December which luckily is when I get paid. I'm reasonably relaxed as I am about £214 in credit for the period of end of Sept to now - so shouldn't be too big a bill with the number of electricity users having dropped significantly. I've done some rough calcs - and if I'm correct I shouldn't owe them anything. Here's hoping anyway.
I still need to do a test on my water to check for a leak. It would be good to update the meter reading regularly regardless.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've been reading along and agree with others that who, when and what you say about your divorce is entirely your choice. I thought this might be a good promot for you .... it helps me.10
