Just catching up on all your posts SH - you’re prolific!! Just really wanted to post and say I think you’re doing so brilliantly. Divorce - whether your choice or not -
is a seismic event and takes a long time to get used to. So glad you are going to counselling, I found it so helpful. What @blackcats has posted above is so wise (I found it hard to practice!).I too am from a faith based background and found people in church to be very judgement free when I got divorced (my dad is also a minister!) As you say, a minister will go down the route of marriage preservation but only you know what’s right and announcing it is not appropriate.Reading along and cheering you onCredit Card 1 - £6249.99 £4,900

Happy shiny new diary @savingholmes.
To go with your happy new life.
I appreciate things seem in a bit of a flux now but things will get better.
Well done on the FB sales. I find it fascinating what sells & what does not!
When my ExH & I first seperated I found some peoples reaction quite astonishing.
Some people crossed the road to avoid me & others were supportive.

Thanks Blackcats for the graphic. It's a great one and I have saved it.
Thanks MF.
Thanks Fortune
Welcome beanielou. Thanks for sharing and your encouragement too.
Well I spent ages around midnight last night trying to get the new router working only to find on getting up early this morning that it still hasn't switched over.
Also despite people's assurances it would be easy, no-one said I might still need a router and a modem so got very confused.
Hopefully the BB won't disappear mid meeting today!!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Am I allowed to stray across to the mortgage free boards? It all feels very distant to me!
Congratulations on this new phase in your life. I haven’t fully caught up on everything but will be reading from now

Well I finished coat 1 on the ceiling this morning before work. I have re-coated half the room. Need to do rest later or tomorrow. Then it's on to the bit I hate!!! Glossing !!! It's so long since it's been done the woodwork looks yellow! Yack. The second coat went on much easier than the first.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
