I would still run gparted on your linux system zorin and paste a screenshot ...e.g.Plus gparted is my choice over AOMEI / any Windows based tool or even a gparted live USB, but of coure that is me. I guess that you have not yet used Zorin in anger so not much to lose. Windows disk management is a bit of a PITA to be honest but I have used dual boot for years and the linux based tools are superior IMHO, even Acronis backup/AOMEI rescue tools are based on linux. But Tallmansix is quite capable from what I have seen on here.Edited: of course s/he is correct make a plan

Agreed, I'm fairly sure you can move partitions in gparted so it is a better solution. I think OP will need to boot from a USB though as the partition that needs moving is the Zorin one? Never actually done it while the OS is running so not sure if possible.
Also as suggest by debitcardmayhem, will be worthwhile checking the partitions in gparted first though in case I've missed something, worked in IT long enough to know I must take a 2nd opinions seriously!
I use a second disk for my Linux OS so not really got as much experience of having it on the same drive.

Lovely thanks for all your help.
I will have to go now but I will boot in to Zorin tomorrow and post a screenshot.
Not really sure how gparted works so will wait until I get instructions on what to do next.0 -
gparted may not be on a standard zorin install but if not then look here https://zorin.com/help/install-apps/
Also if you really want to get into dual o/s and use Linux and Windows then systemrescuecd comes with many tools including gparted it's here https://www.system-rescue.org

Hi sorry for late return , been and had my booster today. Looking what you have at the moment adding the "H:" partition to the Windows C is not easily done it is in an extended partition i.e. it is a logical drive and i can't remember if it is possible or not.Let's get some background of what you originally wanted to do. Your win c is getting quite full as is the zorin root,now having looked further at your screen shots is note windows shows the 27.66 GB zorin root as primary when gparted shows it as /dev/sda7 under the /dev/sda4 extended partition which means it is logical.... confused !! (well I am)Still that wont stop us will it ?so let's boot in to zorin and open a terminal window and issue this command (I could do it in windows using using diskpart but it would make my head hurt finding the syntax for that
)
sudo fdisk -l /dev/sda
then post a SS of that eg4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Aint no sunshine ☀️ Octopus gas fixed dec 24 @ 5.74 tracker again+ Octopus Intelligent Flux leccy1 -
