Morning! Here I am, back again. NSD 14 yesterday - all the time I was working, I did not spend one single penny. I used up kettle food in the house, and lost 6lbs due to massive quantities of walking (13km a day) backwards and forwards in a space about the size of a school sports hall. Anyway, there is money coming my way at some point in the future, and it was a great gig.Now to sort out my house, which is a bomb site, and to buy stuff in for lunchboxes and for, well, food!Today will be my first spend day since Monday - not sure the last time I managed a 5 day streak, but it feels good.Mothernerd your system of concentrating on one corner of a room and working backwards is highly efficient and utterly praiseworthy, I will steal it and replicate it once I have mainlined a bit more coffee and sworn at the television from 9-10am on Channel One.I am a bit scared to look in the fridge veg drawer, I can't remember what was in there, but I might have to make a very bendy stew.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Spent Friday and Saturday, but not today so I’m on NSD 10 / 15.Friday I went along with Mum’s friend to the big American warehouse and bulk bought some items we use frequently: toothpaste, toilet paper, laundry detergent, those sorts of things. It was an expensive trip but should last us a while and will save us some money over time. Saturday was grocery delivery day and I bought last few gifts for sprouts day.Today took DS to his swimming lessons, and had a ‘fashion show’ when we came home - basically I was checking what clothes DS had for our forthcoming holiday. I also added two more items to the declutter list and have now reached halfway.Today’s Sunday sweepsFood £8Transport £47Leisure £0Total underspend this week: £55November underspend goal £137/£16060 items challenge

Hugs for those in need of them.
17 NSD today.
Today I dealt with cleaning and organising inside of the kitchen cupboards and drawers. Kept putting it off. Decluttered a tiny amount of paperwork and put some bits in various recycling points when I went out today. Dealt with some admin. Did a food shop yesterday and got a couple of food items for December celebration.
Grateful for:
Dealing with a couple of frogs.
Having a restful afternoon.

Evening turtles, end of the weekend already
Yesterday was a NSD. Woke up ridiculously early, couldn't sleep for whatever reason so went for a swim instead. Done and back home by 8! Did a bit of yoga and housework, then dyed my hair with henna. Pretty relaxed day overall.
Today up early again to go riding, then went over to RDA and for another swim. Very much needed the swim, my back was killing me by the end of RDA.
Have done a load of washing but feeling a bit rough so just cooking a simple dinner and then I may take myself off to bed not long after. Using up one of my simply cook boxes, a Brazilian style curry with butternut squash, peppers and coconut milk. Smells yummy!8 -

Did more cleaning and put washing out first thing so got it virtually dry. Did 12k steps as walked to next village to do a small shop in the c00p, had £1 off with loyalty voucher. Bought fave sourdough bread for freezer. Made veggie roast for tea & soup for the freezer. Paid for next week's exercise classes on Fb. Donated some food to the food bank at the SM yesterday. Am slowly adding to charity bag but not counting as decluttering till delivered to the shop.
Gratitudes - lovely walk in the autumn sunshine, seeing DD1; early night with a good book

Hi Turtles,
Had a good day today working 4 hrs tidying up the garage. At least most of it is up off the floor and stacked in crates so we can get to freezer and back door.
Put 4 cardboard boxes for recycling and threw various broken bits away, including grass box for mower we no longer have, worn out mat and perished vinyl apron.
Decluttering for charity: motorcycle gloves, sandals, cocktail mixer, 2 keyrings, yoga mat, owl shoulder bag and french knitting dolly. Not much for 4 hours work!
Just over 5K steps and NSD 2/15.
Donation to shoebox appeal for transportation costs to orphanages etc in Eastern Europe. The gift parcels are on their way!
Waiting to hear whether my friend wants to come to a couple of day schools in the New Year. Fingers crossed!
Gratitudes today: Finally making a start on cleaning up the garage, my niece being pleased with the £5 chair I got her and 2 of next doors cats coming round for a fuss. I do miss my old cat, Mr.Neeson. ❤
Better get on with ironing my work clothes for tomorrow.
Wishing you a all a nice week.

Walked to my house, using the shopping trolley. I was very slow and got slower but I got there. Four people passed me going the other way but due to weather, glasses and mask I couldn't see them clearly. They were in black and it was obviously some kind of uniform (may have been night workers going home or security/ bar staff going to set up at the sport's stadium. Nearer to the road I saw a police car and van and then the shouting started. As I was going over the bridge, a third vehicle was going to back them up.
Had a sit down when I got to my house and then re-arranged the bins. There is a spare bin in the backs which no-one is using so I moved the innocuous bin bags into that and then put chinchilla poo bags and food waste bags (some has been there a while) into our black bin (nearly full by the time I finished). 2 large sacks of cans out (black and brown bins were brought up to the back door and I sat on a chair squashing cans with my hands and tossing them into the open bin. Have given one each to DS3 and Beloved and told them to squash and bin as they go along (may not be enough room in the bin for them but they can go in the yard. Gathered odd bottles, cans and food tins from here. there and everywhere so that bin is also full to the brim.
Used some wipes to remove gunk from the sink (bought kitchen roll later as I think quite a lot more will come off yet) pulled items from the sink (ex cleaning sponges went straight into a bag and into the outside bin), poured an opened bottle of coke down the plughole (a substitution that was like drinking talcum powder) followed by a bottle of drain unblocker.
Dishwasher unloaded and reloaded (joint effort - not expecting any help so it's pleasant when it happens). Tackled the disgusting kitchen bin (another joint effort as I held a replacement bag whilst DS3 tipped in the bottom half of the bin contents. Did the corner beyond the dishwasher once it was going. Found the paper sack under the table. Tackled a large branch of pyracantha - it had ivy draped all over it and I walked into the end several times the other day and was pulling pyracantha needles out of my hair. Kondo'd a pile of carriers.
At about 2pm I went shopping, eclectic mix of things bought, some cleaning materials (had taken a bag of rags and 2 packs of wipes with me along with some garden tools), numbers to put on the bins, alphabet stickers so I can divide some ys notebooks into sections (originally £3, I bought them at 75p), some medicinal items including mouth wash to help with the sore throat and furry tongue. finally found wrapping paper I liked at a £ a roll (looked at lots online and it all seemed very expensive and not particularly attractive). Assistant offered to put my shopping through for me (after she told me I'd put the basket on the wrong side and I had to heave it off and onto the other side).
Sat down outside the shop and was engaged in conversation by the homeless guy bedded down in the doorway (they only have one set of double doors open out of 3). Checked through my list - 12 items ticked off (total cost £18.50). Most needed outstanding item - buckets. Decided to try HB. bought the only 3 buckets in store and a few more bits (including 2 x 50 masks). Made my way back to the house, back hurt, leg hurt (definite list to my gait). Was going to book a taxi for 3.30 pm but decided I was too sore to do any more work. Phoned and no taxis for an hour (3,30 pm bingo). Unpacked slowly then sat with my legs up (DS3 had gone in the bath) reading my book.
As we entered mum's street we passed a parked tessimo truck. As we pulled up at the house it pulled up behind us. Food was due between 4 pm and 5 pm and it was only 20 to but no worries, there were 2 of them and i had a pile of Kondo'ed carriers in the front of the rucksack (unlocked the door but not taken my bags inside). They did most of the packing and were away by 10 to. Mum wasn't fussed about the Sunday dinner I'd promised her but got excited when I told her there were pizzas in the order, so easy tea. I've put away the freezer and fridge stuff but left everything else piled on the sofa.
May do some online orders later but very tired and lots of aches and pains. Dithering over Christmas - half of me wants nothing to do with it and the other half is saying, get it done and over with or it will all come crashing down on you. The only parts that I liked of the musical interlude on Friday were the Christmas songs. Counting 55 items out today at my house (total 137/2021) and a couple more here.
Gratitudes - easy food, getting lots done, walking (slowly and painfully but walking).

Well done everyone on all your progress, you have all been busy! It must be the day for it - I started out by submitting my tax return, so big frog done & dusted 😃 then went & scrubbed/cleaned the kitchen window & round the sink. After lunch I replaced 3 zips for a customer. Prepared letters for RM survey, paired up everything in my sock bag & sorted a few things in my bedroom. Feel very pleased with what I've got done. Won an item on the bay of E, so ordered a couple more presents off son's sprout day list, all through cashback site of course!
Grateful for getting tax return done & feeling lighter in spirit because of it, the sun shining through my clean kitchen window, ticking things off my listUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Hi guys
Today was manic at work, the weather was nice so all the tourists were out. Luckily it was only a four hour shift.
DS2 cooked us a lovely roast so I took some mince pies for pud.
This week I’m aiming to eat from stores as much as possible to save doing a food shop.
Today I’ve been grateful for a lovely roast dinner, a snooze in front of the tv and lovely doggy cuddles from my grand dog (sad I know but as I’ve no grandchildren 😂😂)
