evening
apple - thank you for this challenge.
i've finished the month with a decluttering flourish! Took 15 items to the CS. Looked for a replacement coat for DD2 but couldn't find one. Will keep looking. Off to the SM for a few items and to spend a voucher. Have mostly managed 10k steps each day.
Grateful for a quiet evening ahead and seeing DD1 later

Evening turtles. Much warmer here today, it was positively balmy, tropical even compared to yesterday!
Not much to report today but I achieved all my little mini goals for the month, I can't ask more than that. OH and I decided to celebrate the job offer with a pizza as they're on offer today. Shopping is also being delivered today as well.
This month has gone quickly, roll on December!7 -
Thanks apple! I made it to 15 NSDs, possibly 16, I managed to not note it down on a couple of days, so a minimum of 15 was achieved.Today was a massively spendy day, but all in prep for winter - pjs, winter duvets, fuzzy duvet covers, stocked up the tins in the pantry, filled the freezer with ys bargains, 3 x hot water bottles, LOO ROLL for the rest of the year . Coffee for the rest of the year. Paid on the cc for points then paid off the cc when I got home.Still not been paid! Will see what tomorrow brings.See you on the other side!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Made a lastminute bid to get to 60 items out of the house but only found another 12 (45 in total). Three trips to the recycling bin, 2 bins out for collection, a box and a bag full of paper, pulled nearly everything out of two cupboards - crispbread, oat cakes and crackers mum doesn't like in one bag, new toaster now has a home in the cupboard and several storage jars of lentils, pasta and split peas are out (waiting for a suitable box). Fished the washing pods out from under the sink (mum didn't like the smell so they have been languishing under the sink. not intending to move any food to my house until things are much cleaner but could pile boxes and bags in the second wardrobe as I want to go through the bottom few layers.
Soup, rice pudding and grapefruit moved to refill the kitchen cupboards. Grateful for spicy pizza, getting things done slowly, finding a decluttering task list whilst looking for the boiler man's number. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -

Scraped the car of ice this morning, but the roads seemed ok. A good day at work. Did worry til lunchtime, as hubby felt unwell before I left the house. It's the first time he's felt ill since being diagnosed with renal failure, but DS1&2 were home, so got them to keep an eye out. Messaged hubby at lunchtime & he thankfully felt ok again. Had a nap after work, then spent the whole evening repairing holes in a bagful of clothes for someone. Rewarded myself with a tepid bath & 20 pages of my book ☺️
Grateful for pupil telling me I was one of his greatest friends 😍, hubby feeling better, homemade calzone for tea
Thanks for this month apple, look forward to hearing from you all on the new thread!Use it up, wear it out

Hi Turtles,
Just squeaking in over the finishing line for November.
2/15 NSD and about 20 items decluttered. (Not mentioning the new-to-me items that sneaked in to replace them!) Oops.
Borrowed blood pressure monitor and oximeter for mum from friend rather than her buy one. Doctor reviewing tablets and doing blood tests after mum's recent funny turn.
Gratitudes: No more funny turns for my mum so far, a lovely pie for tea (I ❤ pastry) and a fancy chocolate advent calender with proper sized chocs for lending my parking permit to a neighbour.
See you all for the December challenge x

Hi Apple thanks for the challenge, my only success this month was a lot of nsd days and being able to get everything I needed in order to move ds1 back in in a few weeks. I am now restuffing my emergency funds as and when possible, it's a trickle at the moment but I will get back on track. I am grateful for the challenges on here and the general generosity and kindness people show.
( I got annoyed this morning - an agency I work for one day a week is collecting used books for school library, and I have lots of kiddy books to get rid of - but guess what teh drop off hours are - 9-4 on a Monday? Not helpful if you are working - I did email them!) Might just drop off to the children's society instead.
I am already on Decembers challenge - but need to outline my targets.
See you al over there.
