Wrote the new thread yesterday (had to do a bit of rejigging because I'd already used the first title before). Nearly finished and got the low battery warning. Scrambled to fix that and then just as I made the final entry (2 pm) I lost the whole thing. Arm was throbbing from my jab so left restarting until today (I crossed things off as I included them, so parts of the original were totally obscured).
Had a couple of side effects so stayed on the bed (close to the bathroom) all afternoon and slept early too. Feeling better now, going to eat and then go to my house. Please tell me if the thread ahs any bits missing - there's lots of kindness in there.
Gratitudes for yesterday - the bed, salad and falafels, books. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -

Hi guys
A NSD for me today as OH took me for my booster then I’ve just had a lazy day. I’ve avoided all the Black Friday sales online because I don’t really need anything and the money is needed elsewhere. So I’ve not much to report really. So today I’m grateful for not having to go to work until Tuesday now, for the lovely nurse who gave me my jab and for being able to afford nice warm food and heat now winter has arrived.
Keep warm and well everyone 😀

NSD 15 here. Had a couple of work related visits to do which got me out in the freezing cold! Got my proper winter coat out for the first time, it's lush! Managed yoga this morning and a couple of short walks. Got all my budgets sorted for December too.
OH and I are away tomorrow, I booked an airbnb as a birthday treat but the weather looks foul! There's a December themed market near us that I'd like to pop to in the morning, maybe get some gifts if there's anything decent, maybe grab some lunch there too. Have found a nice pub we can go to for dinner tomorrow night, hopefully we can get out for some walks if the weather lets up.7 -
I have spent again - 60p in Herr L on 3 ys loaves of bread ( so I put it on the card ho-ho-ho) and £4 in Herr A, because they had soya milk in stock unlike Herr L (again!!!) then some ys in Mr T's so it did not count (also sub £6 for weekend necessities like NY sesame bagels).Still not been paid, but made over £5 on p/a to try and scrape back some money spent. So now I have another £8 to cash out.Booked myself and dh in for booster jab at chemist less than 100m away from the front door, on 4th December, and DS2 for his first jab at the same time.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Returned from my house within the last half hour. Several parcels had arrived for me. DS3 was asleep the whole time I was there but I have explained some bits to Beloved. - DS3 can have new bedding as long as he makes efforts to clean up the mattress and tackle the black mould patches on the outside room corners (I may have to supervise but I'm not doing it for him). bath looked a lot better (still some orange patches but think someone else had a scrub after I'd left).
Today was more of the same - about 7 boxes (3 huge ones) broken up and into the paper bin, used the grabber to root under the couch, then did what I could in the corner between the 2 couches and the electric meter. This produced enough stuff for a coupe more paper bags, a small rubbish bag and over half a sack of cans and bottles. Cut some of the ivy in the yard and some going up the wall (on next door's side but straying back onto mine, loads more to do but came in when I got cold. More paper from the bathroom and Beloved's room, picked up whilst I was talking to her. Didn't have the energy to do the dishwasher but have several jobs where a little effort could make a lot of difference.
Went for a wander round town, most of the shops were already closed and no sign of the market stalls but glanced round a couple of charity shops. Bought myself two lanterns for candles. They have a square base and taper slightly to the top. The glass panels are painted with delicate and detailed flowers and insects. Think the colours may have faded but what's left is blue and green. Paid for those and then saw 2 tall cream metal candlesticks and a small pamper package on my way out so went back. they also had a couple of the I K E A moppe boxes (wooden, lots of little drawers) which I will probably go back for (need something to carry them on, would be too heavy dangling off my arms.
Bought food and ate inside then went back. Phoned for a taxi and used the 3/4 of an hour wait to do a little more.
Grateful for finding gorgeous lanterns, mum's present arriving and a bit for DS2, not spending too much. Did an oxfam order this morning but not sure it went through - will check which items are available in my local shop. Saw some books I want in another cs but wanted to check which ones I already have.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -

Think I hit rock bottom mid -September and then just sat back for a while, letting things settle. Gradually (with lots of rest and multivitamins) I started to feel my way forward. Still think I'm going to be here for a while (at the bungalow) - don't want to lug the CPAP machine back and forth and don't have the energy to be in both places every day, even using taxis it's difficult but I am getting there. Sense of humour definitely rising again. I've left you options for your turtle number in December. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage9
