Hi all, I can't wave, as had ovid booster and flue vac in each their arm yesterday. But I have managed an other NSD day so far, not sure it will last, as will need to get coffee for tomorrow morning. 4.6 weeks!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Spend day today. Didn't do everything I wanted to and ended up very tired. I did get to the library and picked 8 more books, collected cash for mum (part of baby brother's money and his 2 girls), called at my house to drop off Christmas money for DS3 and Beloved from mum. He promptly gave it back to me and said he would transfer more to make it up to 4 weeks money (so he's now paid up until April 28th, 2022). Didn't ask to borrow his walking stick as I was worried about missing the bus to the infirmary (a decision I lived to regret).
Dropped off my sample at the infirmary, then found a quiet corner until the bus was due. Unsure where to get off, several things I wanted to do. Settled for the bus station as I wanted to buy a token present for DS2 but it was not in stock so walked in a big circle for no result. Sat on a bench (should have done more stops in the bus station but it was fairly busy) had something t eat and rearranged my bags. Reviewed my list and managed to get some items in the nearest shops but was cold, tired and aching, so phoned for a taxi. Told to expect a 10 - 15 minute wait and it was nearly 40 minutes which I passed doing a number of things to keep the weight off my left leg.
Sat and ate before going out to do the bins. Struggled to get my wellies off when I came back from shopping and couldn't get them back on, so did the bins barefoot. Locked gate and door, watched to the end of the quiz and am on the bed until it's time for Bake off. Will probably need to go out again some time this week but not tomorrow. Mum has another list of errands and I want to visit a local park (by bus, it's on the main road), have a look at the newly opened Heritage centre and the exhibition in the library and start the big clear out and clean up at my house. Plus definitely need to pick up the walking stick and the other walker. May have to do several days but if I'm doing stuff for mum she can pay the fares and pay for a meal deal or similar. If I have a day based at my house I can do the library and heritage centre exhibitions. There's something called a Frost Festival on Friday - it's the annual lights switch on but other activities too (mini funfair in front of the library and between the library and the church 9road closure notices). Didn't notice if the carpark was being closed - perhaps we're not having fireworks this year but there will probably be stalls (several charity ones 2 years ago including owls and exotic birds - parrot rescue sort of thing). Maybe I could have my photo taken with the owls this time.
Grateful for getting to the library (needed to get to the infirmary, wanted to go to the library but the library closes at 2 pm and the vampire's haunt is open until 4 pm so did them in that order). Grateful for getting some things done, everything else will wait until another day. Feeling happier and lighter (and have the dreaded cod liver oil capsules now - noticed the small print says 'and multi vitamins, I'm going to be bouncing). They actually had the liquid stuff, in bottles but I'm only prepared to do so much 'because it's good for me' - don't have vivid memories but it does have unpleasant associations. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -

I am utter crap - I scrapped swimming again. I am just so tired in the evenings. I took my vitamins this morning though. Might help in time. And forgot to buy coffee.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Hope your first day went well, f0xh0les. I was telling DS3 about my second part-time job (whilst still at school) and I was paid between £2 and £3. He said that wasn't bad and the lowest rate of minimum wage wasn't much above that. No I said that was my wage for working all day Saturday and for three hours of Thursday and Friday evenings, not the hourly rate.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7

A spend day today, DS3 wanted some vests & ordered a few things for sprout day. Work was a bit testing today, must've been something in the water! Chatted with a colleague after, she's struggling with some things, so felt good I could lend her my ear. Bit of pottering at home after tea & sewed up a memory bear, just the paw pads & ears to do now. Just spent an hour in the bath with my book, listening to the wind howling & torrential rain on the window.
Grateful for good friends, staying cosy, nice bath & book timeUse it up, wear it out

Morning lovely Turtle-friends and thank you for your well wishes. All went swimmingly - fitting for a Turtle - and it could turn into a couple of times a year, if I behave myself or more in various locations. Lovely people, warm and bright hall to work in. Happy customers. Not sure if my feet are still talking to me, bit sore this morning but they are not used to being stood up on for 11 hours. Hot bath when I got home sorted out any other aches and pains. So same again for today and the rest of the week.No spends - nearly caved and bought a coffee, but decided I was going to use the water fountain bottle filler instead.I am going to treat this as a diet week. Porridge for breakfast, fruit and a cup soup for lunch, lots of water, and a real meal at night and plenty of steps.... broke out the travel mug to join the water bottle.Everything from here on in is pure profit, all expenses were paid for with yesterday's earnings. The kids are very impressed with me, for some reason they do not see me as a valuable member of society, they just see me as mum. They said coming home to a quiet house with no lights on was weird. DH is wfh today, so they won't have that today. It does them no harm!Right, off to work!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hi guys
I’ve totally lost the plot this month but I’m still plodding on trying to manage on as little as possible.
Xmas is nearly sorted so December should be a reasonably cheap month.Today has been a spendy day because I walked down to Lidl and bought a few bits. I originally spent just over £20 but had a voucher for a £5 off if I spent £25 so bought a big bottle of washing liquid ( so nearly free and will last for ages) I took my wheely trolley and have definately had my excercise today, it’s uphill walking home and my shopping was heavier than planned.
I’ve not managed to get rid of anything this week, but as we live in a very small flat we live simply.
I’m grateful for it not raining today, for my £5 voucher £5 free anything is good and for good coffee.
Have a good day guys

Hello turtles,
I've been absent for a couple of days - I'm so run down and exhausted from this incessant cold. I got hardly any sleep last night, and by the time I did fall into a deep sleep, my alarm went off. I was so out for the count that I didn't hear it and OH had to shake wake me. My mood and motivation is suffering from it too. Just wish it would buzz off.
Last night I ate cereal for dinner. OH and I were acting like DS by being extremely fussy eaters. The meal-planned chilli from the freezer didn't take either of our fancy, and both of us were giving off the vibe 'well, I'm not making something else'. So I had a bowl of cereal - it was great! I was telling GF about it and she's loaned me a couple of her recipe books to look for inspiration to jazz up our meal plan.
My work day was filled with too many meetings. I actually voice recorded them to listen back later because I wasn't able to focus.
Yesterday was NSD 9, but today I nipped into the shop for bread, milk, and eggs. Planning to plonk myself in front of the TV tonight and watch more of the new series of Handmaid's Tale.
Grateful today for wfh, for discovering a new useful tool for work, and for GF lending me her recipe books.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7
