Hi Potters I hope you're all enjoying a good week and staying free from COVID!! For those who are poorly, or down in anyway, take great care and get well soon. Best wishes from us all.Oh no, it most certainly wasn't pleasant, Ant, but compared with 2020 itExcellent Peony! Every penny really does make a difference and is extra savings in your pot. I hope you find motivation in some of the posts you read. Keep taking great care of yourself, you need to in your predicament.Brilliant potting Keedie!! You enjoy that super excitement until next week, it certainly won't be long now!!Take care of yourself. Many thanks for your kind words, Siju, we both felt truly blessed that it wasn't like the 1st time! I'm so very pleased you've recovered well from your back, horrible things, and as you say, they're so restricting.Excellent potting for this week Siju, and it's good to hear you're looking forward to D day next week. I don't doubt the fact that none of us will have saved so much as normal, but one of those things sadly, but I'm sure we'll all be quite chuffed anyway! Take care.Hi Vicky, I'm sure you're quite possibly a bit confused because you replied to my PM, and possibly were thinking you'd put it on the thread. Don't worry anyway, I sincerely hope you had some success on YT, if not then perhaps have a chat with your local pharmacist. Failing that, put the name of it into your browser and look through the list of things to choose from, very often it'll take you to a forum for such complaints. We'll get you the help you need to be sure Vicky, but I've certainly used the above for my problems.Yes, fingers crossed for a last flurry of cash to include in what you declare next week!!Great potting again for you, Ant!! I look forward to your amount next week as you've been so regular in potting. BTW, how did your break go?Have a great Thursday, and do beware of Covid, it could be like a cold...or worse!!Sue xxNB folks: The opening date for this year is 27th October 2022, it's NEVER too late to join

I’ve added another £3.50 cash today. Just 7 days to go!
My break was brilliant thanks Sue. Caught up with some cousins who live very close to where we were in Mallorca. Haven’t caught up with them properly for nearly 30 years as they’ve lived out there for years.
Our dads were brothers so it was great to reminisce and remember that although our dads are gone they certainly aren’t forgotten.
It’s good that you’re the other side of covid now.
I still haven’t had it but am sure that my luck will run out at some point.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 54 -
You're so lucky you've not had it @AntoMac, but you may be asymptomatic and not known you were ill. I felt like I was dying, and my tests were inconclusive, but I know that I had it.
Everyone take great care, as there's a lot of lurgies going around, not just covid xx
I potted a mighty 3p roadkill today 😁.Debt Free Diary:- The Mental Debt Struggle

Wife and daughter both had it twice Keedie. Daughter is a tad miffed that I’ve avoided it so far.

Hi, I'm back!
My old laptop went a bit funny and decided it didn't want to let me post on MSE for some reason back in April. Recently, it completely bit the bullet and I had to get a replacement...so here I am once again! Just in time for opening next week too.
While I may not have been on here, I have continued potting a bit here and there (although perhaps not quite as might as I might have done with the encouragement of this thread). I'm excited to see how much I have managed to put away though!SPC '21 #0755 -

One of my sisters has tested positive for covid 5 times @AntoMac! So I can see why your daughter is miffed that you've not had it once lol.
I'm super excited to open the tin next week, and managed to pot an extra £4.55 due to some £2 coins floating in my purse and odd change.

Hi SPCers I hope you're all enjoyed a good week hopefully staying free from COVID!!
Have a really lovely weekend no matter what you do.
For those who are poorly, or down in anyway, take great care and get well soon. Best wishes from us all.Very well done again, Ant!! I'm delighted you clearly thoroughly enjoyed yourselves in Mallorca. Meeting up with each other after all that must have been amazing, no doubt your fathers were looking down and laughing at some of the more humorous memories. The worse thing about Covid for me was having a copd exacerbation (flare up of my copd) it's very much like a very bad chest infection for me with a mild case, though I know the worse sufferers need to be hospitalised! Awful! The first time with Covid was truly awful, at one time we wondered if he would make it through!!I see Keedie says you may well be asymptomatic! Ah just reading your last post, if your wife and daughter have had it then presumably you too should have caught it, but didn't realise it, sounds a lot like asymptomatic! It's a difficult one that as you would still be able to pass it on!! I'd suggest you keep away from your mum whenever they have it, she really doesn't want that!!!Take care and keep potting.DON'T FORGET YOUR BAGS FROM THE BANK a separate one for each denomination!I quite agree Keedie, it's either pretty vile or, apparently, like a cold! Hubby and I felt just like you our first time around in early 2020. I can see how these days your test was inconclusive, it would be so much better if we still had the other tests, far more reliable.Well done potting, keep it going if possible.JUST 6 DAYS TO GO FOLKS, KEEP SAVING IF YOU'RE ABLE !!!You shouldn't have worried about that, Vicky, but thanks very much anyway. I'm ok now, thanks a lot and well done with the extra potting.Hello there Dinglefoot, it's so good to see you back again. So sorry to hear about your laptop, but pleased you have another now. It's good to know you've still been potting, good for you, see you soon!£10 transferred to the SPC account, that's it for SPC 15.I couldn't resist it now could I, Hickey!! 🤭 Ok then, I look forward to seeing you again on Thursday!Have a wonderful weekend, and do beware of Covid, it could be like a cold...or worse!!Sue xxNB folks: The opening date for this year is 27th October 2022, it's NEVER too late to join

5 times @keedie ! Wow, that’s crazy.
My daughter has told me I must be the real Jesus as I’ve avoided it (so far)
I tested regularly, especially when the others in the household have had it. Mum has thankfully avoided it too.
Added another £2.50 change from shopping to the overflow tin tonight. Squeezing every last bit I can now ahead of Thursday.
Who doesn’t love a good old autocorrect eh Sue?! Can lead to some very strange unintentional messages!27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 54
