Sealed Pot Challenge ~ 15

Morning all!

My sealed pot total for 2022 is £2611.08 but there are some reasons for the high amount. It includes almost £700 of penny challenge money and there's also a lot of Christmas and birthday money in there because I didn't know what I wanted.

#21 declaring £1240.40  Truly delighted with that!  £157 is reserved for a subscription, but the rest is for Christmas and then a holiday next year.

Congratulations to all those declaring - no mean feat in the current climate.

Its declaration day!!

Total for me this year is £5434.52.  I am really pleased with the total.

Thanks you for everything as usual Sue_UU.  Sorry I have not been posting much,  life really has got in the way.  I will try to make more effort in the next challenge.

Well done to everyone who has been potting this year, and here's to another great year next year

Morning all, such fantastic declarations!

#79 declaring at £203.94. I'm so proud of this figure as this is savings for less than a year at a time when I have been so financially stretched it's crazy. I was hoping for £70 so I really blew that out the water 😂. I've got a new tin ready for next year.

The appointment was a flop! Apparently, the nurse rang the surgery this morning to say she was sick, as has happened many times before! Why couldn't they have rung to let us know! Now it's not until November 9th by phone!!  Ah we'll see. 😠

Hi Sue, Hi all!

I'm just back from shopping, The receipt I got from their coin machine at the bank said my total came to.....

#78 declaring: £78.25 

Vast majority being 5ps and coopers, not sure where the £1 came from, but I let it fall into the coin counter anyway. A lot of set backs this year but I'm getting a bigger tin for next time, probably one for notes & one for coins.

Eon Next said they would refund me £110, it's too late to add it to this years total but when it does get refunded, I'm going to lift the amount and put it into next years tin/tins.

I might do something different for next years tins, holidaying is a no no due to Mum being unwell & needing care.

I might need a new computer, the one I have struggles with playing movies and games. Who knows, early days, I'll decide later

@SueUU - sorry to hear you appointment with the nurse didn't take place, I hope you will be okay and that you are looking forward to starting Challenge 16.

Brilliant saving James!!!! 👏👏 Depending what you do with your EON refund, it'll either be great to add it to your SPC 16 Total, or to go towards a computer if you decide to renew your old one. Time will tell, for now take care of yourself and of course your mum. 

The appointment is now going to be on the 9th November.
