Hello everyone!
Potting is like busses... you wait all month for an opportunity then two (or three, in my case) come along at once! A couple of TopCashback payouts in quick succession and then £15 from our joint account as what is "left over" and swept across to the sealed pot. So, just over £50 potted!
I'm really excited for declaration day and counting up my little pots!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared6 -
2 more pound coins potted today. We’re now into the month when we open our pots.

Turned very autumnal here now
and on Saturday I decided to sweep the fallen leaves and pears from our patio. I was quite happily sweeping away (something I have done plenty of times!) and suddenly I could hardly move
Obviously trapped a nerve in my back/hip and had to abandon the sweeping. Still a bit painful, but on the mend now, thank goodness as I'm not accustomed to taking it easy. Moving about seems to help and I have been using ice on it too. Thank goodness DH picked up the broom and cleared the patio for me
Another £5.92 in the pot this week. Take care folks and enjoy the rest of your weekSPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.835 -
Autumn is definitely here too! However, to celebrate there was an unexpected £12 to pot. I'm not saying no to that!
In other news, I have been told I have primary lymphoedema. Does anyone on here have anything similar (primary/secondary) that I can pick your brains about? I have joined a Facebook group, but if there's anyone else I'd love to hear from you! Please!

I have joined a Facebook group, but if there's anyone else I'd love to hear from you! Please!Brilliant saving with TCB and all round potting etc, Vicky!!BTW. If you don't have any luck with anyone suffering from Primary Lymphoedema, why not try YouTube? They always have Drs as well as patients with no end of illnesses, and the comments on both are mostly from sufferers who have excellent advice! All the very best to you with it!Afternoon all SPCers, I hope you're all enjoying a good day. For those who are poorly, or down in anyway, take great care and get well soon. Best wishes from us all.I hope you had a really lovely break Ant.Well done with all you've saved since.Good for you with your saving LMD!Many thanks Siju, I'm pleased you had such a lovely time with your treasures.Sounds a very painful brushing! At least you realised what was wrong and took the appropriate action. Ice and to keep moving are both very sensible treatments, keep both up for as long as necessary and I hope you're soon feeling much better.Good potting. An excellent buy with the Teddy Coat and other doggie treats, Hummingbird, and we'll done with the celebration!Sorry folks for having been missing for what feels like ages. T & I have both had Covid and have been pretty rough, though thankfully nowhere near as bad as early 2020.I won't be too long with replies though I'm sure you'll understand.£10 transferred from our bank account to the SPC account.Have a good Wednesday all.Sue xxNB folks: The opening date for this year is 27th October 2022, it's NEVER too late to joinSealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j4 -
That’s really bad luck getting covid again Sue , as you’ve been way more careful than most. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Hello. Well life has really just got in the way the last few months. We are all ok but I just never seem to have anytime to myself or to stop. I’ve potted £5 today. I know that whatever is in my pot is more than I would have had if I hadn’t been potting but I fear it will not be as much as I anticipated ☹️ I’ve got ideas for Alex’s presents but they will be less and his main one has been bought second hand to keep cost down and save the environment; he will never know anyway. Unfortunately for me he still believes in the big fella so I’ve still got 2 sets of presents to get 🎅SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)5

ANY amount potted is a good amount @Hettyhound , always remember that.
I think I’ll be very happy with mine this year as it’s been pretty much my only consistent way of saving and I’ve benefited hugely from reduced commuting costs by being able to work from home a lot of the time.
Another 2 pound coin from my change potted today. Good morning potters,
Not long now until opening day, 17 days? I don’t think I will have done as well as previous years due to not using cash but I’m going to go back to that for the new challenge so hopefully next year will be better, and I want to do it the “old” way when I first started back in 2008 😂
I have also been concentrating on reducing our mortgage so anything left at end of month and regular overpayments have gone onto that.
Have a lovely day folks, I’m in UK at the moment and the sun is shining, it’s a beautiful day.
