I have today potted two £2 coins and a very random roadkill find of 12p from this afternoon - 2 five pence pieces and 2 pennies that had been dropped in the local car park

All very quiet here at the moment.  We are looking forward to spending this weekend with the grandchildren.  Our DGD will be one next Monday  I can't believe how quickly that's come around.  You are quite right @Sue-UU, time does seem to be flying by since covid appeared on the scene.

You don't need to make any extra payments @Sue-UU to join us on the PAD thread, some people count their savings and saving challenges, sinking funds, debt repayments, bills etc as PADs, so you don't need to have anything big to celebrate, and you're always welcome. I'm sorry to hear about T's spine problems too xx

Thanks for the tips re PAD, but I think I'll just stick to here alone for now. However, please could you enlighten me on what on earth is a sinking fund??! 😮 I need my savings after the end of October, I'd hate to see it SUNK!!!! 😮 😉 Only joking about that, though I'll be so very interested to find out what it means.

Ooh that 1st year has also soon flown by speedily, Siju, our DGGD's 1st is on Tuesday 27th, the same day as her 5yr old brother and my dear cousin. It never seems possible, glad you agree about Covid playing its part in that!! Have a lovely day with your little darlings. 😃 Our other DGGS's is on the same day as your little treasure's but he will be 2.
