Another four pounds added today. Trying to squeeze every last bit I can I to the pot over the next couple of weeks or so.
Ive been paying extra attention to overpaying my mortgage too @mummytummy , or rather making payments to the interest only element which seemed like a great idea at the time - Less so now that interest rates are rising!27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 57 -
Stuck a few pennies in the pot yesterday. I’m also concentrating on mortgage as my fix ends on 31/12. Remaining balance fairly small so just going onto standard rate and then will be chucking everything at it to clear it in hopefully 3-4 years.SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)8

Oh no, Sue, that's such awful bad luck to get Covid again. I do hope you and T are recovering now. I've been missing in action again due to a recurrence of my back problem and now arthritis in my neck too 😕 which makes me very dizzy at times. What with G's cervical torticollis as well, we make a right pair 🙄
Very little potting going on as we're not going out very often but looking forward to pot opening anyway 😀

Hello, sorry that I have not been around, a combination of my health, husband retiring early due to health issues and helping to take care of three very frail elderly parents …. Leaves me exhausted.
I have been potting away, little and not very often!
I will try and pop on more now, I am trying to get a daily routine set up,
Take care all.

OH what a relief!!!!
Hi Potters, it's taken me since yesterday to finally get back on to SPC, but I'm back with yet another new password.
I hope you're all enjoying a good day of another week...closer to Declaration Day! For those who are poorly, or down in anyway, take great care and get well soon. Best wishes from us all.Ah that's well over 2 years since we had the first Covid though, Ant, and this was was a lot less vile than the first, still nasty, but..! However, this one left me with a really nasty chest infection, same with at least 2 others in the village too. Thanks very much indeed Ant.Excellent savings, not long to go now!!! 😮Hi Hetty, doubtless very many families are sharing your fears, but so long as young Alex believes in the big fella then telling him 🎅 is having a rough time might help. I expect you're over thinking it though and he'll be chuffed to bits with his presents. The important thing is... the love that comes with them, and I'm sure there will be plenty of that. 🥰Great saving!!Good thinking re your mortgage and may the 3 - 4 yrs come to fruition!! 👌Hi there mummytummy! It's wonderful knowing you're here with us! 🤩 I understand your concerns, but I'm positive you're not alone by any means. Go back to your 2008 way of saving for next year, whatever feels right for you!Very safe traveling when going back to Oz, and see you soon. ☺️Hello again little_sweetie! 🙋 So sorry to hear about your neck and back problems, maybe it's the weather starting to get to it as T's lumbar region is a lot worse, my neck and thorax region too, a right pain in the neck and elsewhere!Take great care of it, G also with his CT problems. Could the weather also be niggling away at G's perhaps? Whatever, look after yourselves.
Be happy with whatever you open up on D Day, you started off really well so, fingers crossed!!I've explained T's and my Covid problems to Ant, if you'd like to take a look above. Not nearly as bad as 2020, what a relief!! 😮💨See you again soon A.Very well done and keep pushing on, Hummingbird, you're being sent such thoughts to do so! We'll soon find out. 😃Oh my word, Peony, no wonder you've had no time to come on the thread, your DH and parents need your time far more than we do for certain! I truly wish you all the very best of health so you're not so exhausted. As much as the family need you, you must take care of YOU too!! Look after yourselves ❤️Brilliant potting LMD!!! I look forward to seeing how much you've saved!! 🤩Sue xxNB folks: The opening date for this year is 27th October 2022, it's NEVER too late to join

Glad you’re second dose of the virus wasn’t as bad Sue
Even so, I’m sure it was unpleasant enough.
I’ve added another £8 to my tin.
