Another four pounds added today. Trying to squeeze every last bit I can I to the pot over the next couple of weeks or so.
Ive been paying extra attention to overpaying my mortgage too @mummytummy , or rather making payments to the interest only element which seemed like a great idea at the time - Less so now that interest rates are rising!

Stuck a few pennies in the pot yesterday.  I’m also concentrating on mortgage as my fix ends on 31/12.  Remaining balance fairly small so just going onto standard rate and then will be chucking everything at it to clear it in hopefully 3-4 years.

Oh no, Sue, that's such awful bad luck to get Covid again. I do hope you and T are recovering now.  I've been missing in action again due to a recurrence of my back problem and now arthritis in my neck too 😕 which makes me very dizzy at times.  What with G's cervical torticollis as well, we make a right pair 🙄 

Very little potting going on as we're not going out very often but looking forward to pot opening anyway 😀

Hello, sorry that I have not been around, a combination of my health, husband retiring early due to health issues and helping to take care of three very frail elderly parents …. Leaves me exhausted.

I have been potting away, little and not very often!

I will try and pop on more now, I am trying to get a daily routine set up,

Ah that's well over 2 years since we had the first Covid though, Ant, and this was was a lot less vile than the first, still nasty, but..! However, this one left me with a really nasty chest infection, same with at least 2 others in the village too. Thanks very much indeed Ant.

Hi Hetty, doubtless very many families are sharing your fears, but so long as young Alex believes in the big fella then telling him 🎅 is having a rough time might help. I expect you're over thinking it though and he'll be chuffed to bits with his presents.

The important thing is... the love that comes with them, and I'm sure there will be plenty of that. 🥰

Hello again little_sweetie! 🙋 So sorry to hear about your neck and back problems, maybe it's the weather starting to get to it as T's lumbar region is a lot worse, my neck and thorax region too, a right pain in the neck and elsewhere! Take great care of it, G also with his CT problems. Could the weather also be niggling away at G's perhaps? Whatever, look after yourselves.

Be happy with whatever you open up on D Day, you started off really well so, fingers crossed!!
