Keedie said:Thanks @LittleMissDetermine. I've decided to treat myself to something in the Black Friday sales with whatever I've managed to save in my virtual and sealed pots. I think I'll need to work out what I really want, and then print a picture of it to put on my tin, so that I can see my goal. That'll help me to stay motivate. Today was my first NSD as well - yippee! lol xxLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £6573 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3364/£6000 | Travel savings £1508 | Sinking pots £25712

Good Evening Potters! I hope you've all had a good day, though not much weatherwise!
Not better to come either.
For all those of you either unwell or low in spirits, take great care and get well soon. Love and best wishes from us all. ❤️Oh dear, thanks so much anyway, Ant, but they're pretty high in calories I'm afraid. Thanks very much indeed for your help though, sorry to be so late in replying though.I doubt I'll ever find the very low calorie snack I'm searching for, never mind, I managed to go without tonight, quite proud too! 😊Try to avoid impulse buying, Keedie. When I get tempted, I ignore whatever it is, and on going back a second time I usually find I really didn't need it anyway! I ask myself "do I want it or need it?" If I don't need it, then it stays there whatever it is. Saves all round!Excellent potting LMD!!£15 transferred to the SPC account and very pleased with it too!Have a good Thursday Potters, keep safe and healthy!Sue xxNB folks: The opening date for this year is 27th October 2022

That's great advice @Sue-UU, separating out wants from needs. I do need to work on that more, and stop carrying my cards around and live on cash more too. xx

Your regular pottings must be really adding up now @LittleMissDetermined
I saved on some milk this week - Needed less and found it cheaper - so potted the few pounds from that along with a few pounds saved from not having to go to the office every day.
I think it’s all about forming good habits @Keedie. What Sue says about trying to avoid impulse buying is great advice. I’m far from perfect in this respect myself, but way better than I used to be.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 55 -
