thank you for the company .7 -
Morning again!
One advantage of being awake early is that the jobs get done early… I’m starting paid stuff now but so far…
bathroom, en suite and downstairs loo all swished over so today’s list is done ✅
bedroom aired, bed made
dry washing folded
wm x 1 just finishing up, then I will put that on the airer
dw emptied and kitchen reset as DH left a bit of a mess last night
brekkie eaten and cuppa slurped
drove Dh to station as I need the car
litter trays scooped and freshened
I have a lunch out with my work colleagues today, first face to face meeting in 20 months and the first time I’ve met many of them!
righto, time to do some of the paid stuff. Take care all x8 -
Sending positive vibes your way ASB. Hope today is a good day for you.
I am in late today so have done my workout and had a shower. Some washing to put over the airer, chilli to make for tea, my office needs a clean and tidy. I should think about booking a food shop too, not sure I will get all that done before I go to work.
DH is annoying me, it's a bit unfair but I am used to having some time at home on my own. I need a bit of space.

I meant coffee lol
i have had a bit more sleep, not rushing to get up as it was a very broken night.

Washing out on the line for a bit, chilli made, clean washing to put away and bed to make. Might see if I can order a Mr T shop.
DH has just been a bit funny with me, and I have a weird feeling that he is reading this. So if you are on here hubby I love you very much and you are the whole world to me, but things are all a bit stressful at the moment and everything feels a bit out of kilter, which is not your fault. This has always been a place where I can vent a bit anonymously without thinking too much about what I am saying, and this helps massively with my anxiety, but its not intended to be read by anyone who knows who I am. Perhaps I should keep things to myself more and I am sorry if I hurt your feelings, it was a stupid thing to say.
Anyhow, off to get some more stuff done before work.10 -
Thank you so much for this week being back to basics. I was feeling entirely overwhelmed, but I've jumped in and spent 15 minutes tidying my reading nook so it now feels like a pleasant space. I feel a lot more motivated and a lot less useless. I'm the process of cutting down on my smartphone usage, and stopped reading the forum as a result. This morning, it finally dawned on me that the forum is still accessible on a laptop. Doh! So here I am! Getting back into it. Hope you're all doing well.8

Valli.. everyone else is almost better here but it is all sat heavy on my chest. I am relying heavily on my inhaler and a lot of cough medicine. I was up twice last night coughing until I was retching which is so painful. My upper back and lower front are very sore..
I'm not doing much today, OH is just off to the gym and I have a WM to load and since it is not yet raining I will hang it all out.
I have custard creams and shorties I will pop in the tin for tonight.Boog collected prescriptions.I have 2 parcels to package and post.

Ironing doneFood shop done with OH as trolley driver, please stay near me so I can put the items in the trolley and not have to look for you around the supermarket as you and the trolley have gone off for a wander around............. solution to have 2 trollies, his and hers!!YL xxPigpen hope things start to ease soon.ABS good vibes to you.Ironing doneFood shop put awayKitchen is doneIt seems I am becoming a poppy seller this year
looking forward to it, the co-ordinator is coming to the door with 2 forms and a tray of poppies and a route / times for me, tomorrow, I have a feeling I might fail the forms as I don't have any references, I cannot use relations of any sort, I don't have friends as lockdown prevented me meeting any new groups etc............luckly my family name is very well known in the area so fingers crossed that will have to do, or I'll be handing the poppy tray back to them!

So far today I have
- cleaned the bathroom as per list
- made my bed
- S&S'd the kitchen
- sent DH out to get a repair done on his car
- attended a memorial service online
- written the covering letter to go with the new church bank account application. The new bank wants to know how long we've held our account with the Horribly Silly one. Nobody can remember, and the online statements only go back to 2015, but seeing as we have received 190 pages of statements in those 6 years, out of a total to date of 801, my estimate is at least 20 years!!! I have also told them that I have not printed out the 112 pages of parliamentary legislation about church governance (which is available in full online) because I want to save the planet, not waste trees. I hope whoever deals with our application is fully aware of the bank's ethical policies and maybe also has a bit of a sense of humour!
And b-r-e-a-t-h-e....
DH has just rung to say that he's on his way home, so I'll pack up the application papers now and take them to the PO later. I am determined to get lots more bits decluttered off my desk today, as well as doing a quick food shop and more gardening
