Aww Honey Bear how very thoughtful of you to feed her partner as well as her. And to think of sieving her soup too..

DH has gone out this evening with his old school friends, for the first time in a couple of years. He has to drive to the town where my oldest friend lives. Do you remember the way? Yes of course, he says. Cue a call 30 minutes later. He is lost…
This evening, I have cooked up and portioned out a few meals for DD, to take to her at the weekend. Apparently now she appreciates mama’s cooking and meal planning!
Time now with a cuppa to own the remote control for an hour or so.9 -
Evening all. Hugs where needed.
No flying being done here. If I'm not working I'm cuddling Littleydog who now has her metal leg. Tomorrow will be more of the same with a trip to the vet for laser therapy.
Hoping for some sleep tonight.Spend less now, work less later.9 -

I'm way behind this week......however I did a great deal of flying at my Mum's last weekend, Sat pm till Mon pm. Which of course made me behind with report writing. So this week has been pretty much trying to catch up on the reports, plus did 2 more assessments so even more reports to write......and we're going to Norfolk this weekend with BIL who is arriving tomorrow. No time to breathe, have reluctantly cancelled 2 gym classes this week owing to so much work. However I did a lake swim before we went to Mum's on Sat, a pool swim (and post-swim coffee with gym buddies) on Tues and am taking my wet suit to Norfolk!
Other random things I've done this week are filling bird feeders, writing list for weekend (we're self catering), going to Mr T, ordering new printer ink, not quite keeping up with postal stuff, trying to keep on top of emails. Luckily I haven't been in a position to make much mess except in my office and that's not too bad as I've had to keep organising to make sure I don't forget to do anything (like post today's parcels, which I've just found!).
Me time? Well in between the general panic and report writing, I've tended to slob out watching a film/doing tablet jigsaw and I had a lovely Blues drum lesson today, despite not having practised any of last week's reggae.
Tomorrow is finishing at least one report, seeing workplace student, packing, cooking a couple of meals to take away with us, hoovering and hopefully some other sort of flying too.
Keep smiling everyone.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -

After a quick visit to WAC with cramp at about 02.30 this morning, and then not waking up again until 09.00, I have done odd bits here and there, in no particular order:
- rang DSiL (94) who it turns out is recovering well from a stroke on 8th Oct.
- paid bills and did other admin
- did WMx2
- kept getting interrupted by emails which added even more to my already lengthy to-do list
- received a parcel which had no sender's name on it, and I couldn't remember having ordered anything, so I opened it outdoors, very gingerly! It turned out to be harmless - just the new sets of weekly giving envelopes for church
- took Rosie for her walk
- potted up three fuchsias
- filed more papers
- emptied the shredder bin and unjammed the shredder teeth
- thought at one point that today was Saturday and almost started putting the clocks back
- texted my friend F (godchildren's mum) and had a long chat with her this evening.
Hoping I can make an earlier start tomorrow and declutter all loose paper off my desk. The spare bed is actually clear enough to sort the family history papers - when I eventually get round to doing them
Hope everyone gets a good night's sleep xx8 -
Dizzy drags herself in, weak and bleeding from half-term hell., determined to take full advantage of the extra hour in bed on Sunday...I hate school holidays...
No flying to report. House is a total pit, garden looks like Steptoe's yard and bank account is crying.
Starting a new regime on Monday. Personal trainer, healthy diet, day planner...I give it 4 days...
Big hugs to all in need xxx9
