Morning lovelies
After several poor nights sleep I finally slept like a log last night. It is pouring with rain here and set in for the day, luckily I have absolutely loads to do indoors to occupy me.
Roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings tonight. Big hugs all round xx

Good morning all,
Rain lashing at the windows, sufficient flying achieved yesterday morning, so that today feels very much like a SOAADFA type of day. I spent my extra hour in bed with my book (thank you, ASB, for the recommendation 😘), and the book seems to have come downstairs with me as well… Really ought to get dressed some time soonish, I suppose.
Today’s flying will consist of menu planning for the week ahead, cooking dinner, maybe making a cake. I have a hankering for coffee and walnut for some reason.
DH is cluttering up moving all his treasures back into the new study. It was wishful thinking that there would be a cull, as it already looks like a tip and makes me want to cry with frustration. I have resorted to closing the door (preferably with him inside 😈), so that I don’t have to see the mess.
Hugs to all xx9 -
Morning xx
It's tipping down here too. You are not alone in the not dressed stakes Fayolle - first brew is going down nicely. It's blowing a hoolie but I'll have to venture out as I told Pops that I would visit this morning, plus I need to pick up my prescription and fill up with petrol- petrol station is opposite the Surgery/ Pharmacy so it's mse to do both at the same time 🙂
Take care

You may remember that I recently waited in for a Captain Jack Sparrow outfit to be delivered?

Wow, they look good Round.
Morning all.
A rough night again with Littleydogs leg and fireworks going off past midnight. However this morning, I managed to get the dog walk out of the way before the rain came and all essential flying is done. I'm now on the sofa, a dog at each side and will spend the day relaxing with them.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -

I'm dressed, sorted Sweetie's seed and water, brought laundry hamper down, sorted washing and set first load swishing. Second brew and toast being consumed and I've texted Pops to say I'll be round this afti and not this morning....hoping it will fair up a bit later on. 🤞

*sneaks in quietly and sits at the back, like I have been here all the time*
Good morning! 😁
I have caught up on this week's (and last week's!) thread. Hugs & gws wishes to all the poorlies, and poorly pets. DH has had "the cold" and was off work for 2 weeks! To be fair, he is a postie so it is an outdoor physical job, and after 1 week off work he got breathless walking to the station! (he is fit & healthy, and runs long distance!) He is better now thankfully (although still moaning 😂)
I have (as usual) a long to do list. We are hoping that DS will finally move into the back ( much bigger) bedroom by the end of the week. It has been decorated, and the Swedish shop has been visited. Most of the furniture he wants has been unavailable, including the bed. The sooner he is in there, the sooner I can put my clothes (some is in boxes) away and DH can move his music stuff into the small bedroom/office. It woukd be nice to have a bedroom without clutter - we can all dream!!
Exciting news!!! I can't tell anyone else, because it is very early days.....DD1 video called me yesterday to show me 2 positive pregnancy tests!! 😁😁😁 I am ready for the next phase! DH & DS don't know yet, and I am ready to pop! 😂 DD1 & DSiL are visiting in 2 weeks to 'break the news'
I am going to spend the next half an hour researching baby patterns (crochet & knitting) online.... 😂9 -
Waves to Goodi xx 😘
The sun is shining so I'm going to town for my prescription and petrol. I'll call to see Pops and Babs on my way back.
Are you OK piggers?
2 loads of washing done and artfully draped over the airer. 1 magazine decluttered...every little helps.

Exciting news, GI!
Lovely photo, Round. Your boy scrubs up well 😉.
Fridge sorted, freezer rummaged through, meal plan done. Gooseberry crumble added to tonight’s dinner plan, courtesy of gooseberries frozen at some time past. Broccoli soup made for tomorrow’s lunches out of stems and leaves. The Knitting Project is finally progressing so that the end is in sight. I am hoping to crack on with it this afternoon. Really should be finalising my tax return though…8
