Good morning. Pleased to see the WAC unvisited. I hope that means you've all had a good night's sleep!
Awake at work-get-up time so have a load tumbling - towels. E7 leccy.
Back in bed now though.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear9 -
Morning all
Didnt sleep well. Strange dream about my FIL who passed away 11 years ago, worries about the car, DH, and work deadlines. Anyhow, today is another day right?
10 minutes yoga done, chicken casserole in SC, damp washing from yesterday over airers/radiators, DW on. Heating is on for an hour. Shower, breakfast and then into the office (hoping the car behaves itself). Normal hours today so I get an evening at home.
Have a good Tuesday all x10 -
Morning all.
Dailies and dog walk done, also popped to shop. Plans for today include enjoying a rare day off with DH and I must bath the dogs later and mop floors.
Lots of doggy cuddles here this morning.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Morning all
Quick break from paid stuff, lounge was tidied per the list before work and I also did the daily swish of the en suite. Windows open for a while and bed made, Wm x 1 has been run and is currently twirling in the TD as it’s raining!Hoping to head out for a walk at lunch time, feeling a bit groggy so want to clear my head a bit, not sleeping great again so that’s not helping.
weigh in this evening so supper will be eaten early. DH working late so after sw I think I will have a leisurely bath and perhaps paint my toenails!
hope you are all ok. Hugs etc all available to those in need x9 -
Afternoon all x
dailies done
lots of stupid phone calls dealt with ( one out of the blue saying DS2 is moving tomorrow, I think not Mrs)9 -
Evening all.
I did not mop the floors as I couldn't be bothered so I watched telly and took the dogs for another walk instead.Tomorrow is Littleydogs new knee op at the vet hospital in the big Yorkshire city so I'm going to stay there all day to avoid two long round journeys.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Sorry to hear about the stupid phonecalls, dancemum - especially the blue one. I hope they don't try to pull a fast one - it must be so unsettling for your DS.
Posivibes for Littleydog tomorrow, Jazee!
Rosie had the temerity to wake me up at 04:50, wanting to go out in the garden, so I'm very tired this evening. I haven't snoozed at all this afternoon: instead I worked outside for an hour and filled our green bin to the brim in time for the last garden refuse collection of 2021 tomorrow.
I have also
- completed today's list
- completed another bank form
- written a letter authorising me to apply for the new bank account, and got the 2 necessary signatures on it
- been to the bank to pay in a cheque
- on the way home, delivered a welcome card for a new baby (who waved at me from the upstairs window - awww!) and a letter
- taken Rosie for a short walk after my garden marathon
- put food on the table twice and made copious amounts of tea and coffee
- emptied all the indoor bins.
Now going to enjoy Me time and sit and watch GBBO and WDYTYA, then get a relatively early night.

Hi all
Tired tonight. Have done 8 hours at the paid stuff, run the hoover around, changed our bed and put clean washing away.
I have been watching videos for ideas on how to put my hair up, whether I will be able to do any of them is another matter. My hair is almost down to my shoulders and I tie it back in a ponytail when I am cycling or running but its not really long enough to look decent.
Will be an early night I think.10 -
Evening all,
Wide awake at 2.30am, up early, stupid busy day at work, home to sc veggie curry, and Mr M delivering the shopping. I have put away the chilled stuff, the rest will have to wait.
Hair washed, dried and semi-tamed. Kitchen sort of tidy. Washing load sorted for the morning. Healthier pack ups made for me and for DH, so that he is less tempted to reach for the bread.
So why can’t I sleep for a full night??
Going to do a few more rows of the dreaded knitting, which is entering the final straight at last.10 -
Hi girls
Half term means time goes nowhere yet somewhere. It’s blowing a hooley out there so I have just put a load on the line hoping it will dry effectively. DS has a free sports club each day and needs his kit for that.
Not much flying to report but tomorrow is a new day. 🤩🤩
