HI all, not been about much this week which has meant that I have just spent the best part of an hour catching up on the thread!
Welcome newbies!
I know the chart has finished for the month but I have to say I lost 3lb this week! I was stunned to say the least especially as that was half of the class' total weightloss (ok so it was only 12 this week but i was still chuffed LOL!)
I'm going to give my self tomorrow night off as it's an all inclusive do for work and then will have Xmas Day and Boxing Day off too other than thatI am going to try and be good.
I have stocked up with my sweet treat of jelly beans as they contain no fat lol!
I also made some low fat mincemeat from an RC recipe last night and perfected my meringue topped filo mince pies which are about half the calories of a standard mince pie and 10% of the fat content!! I took 24 to work and come home with none bunch of gannets in my office. - will gladly share the recipe if anyone wants it.
If anyone wants to add me to facebook I'm Julia Robb if you want me to add you instead just tell me who you are but due to dodgy connection i don't know when I'll next be on.Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0 -
KPC, I can always remember a friends parent asking me to pass something along to Andrew... Spent ages wondering who Andrew was... I'd only ever known him as fatman, and I'd known him about 3 years at that time!
Oh, and there's no way I could choose between David Tennant and Richard Hammond! That's just not possible!
I don't have a recipe KatyK, but that orange sorbet plan does sound really good! lol.
Congrats on the new job Seren, what is it that you teach? Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick - it happens a lot lol
And thanks for the chart BB, and great big well dones to Delly and Starlight**"Cheer up, it could get worse" - I cheered up, and look, it got worse!**0 -
Well done delly on SOTW!!0

jillie, i'm looking for home exercise equipment too and i really fancied a cross trainer i found that folds down a bit but it's £249! Then OH had a brainwave . . . I'm off this morning to try and buy a dancemat for the PS1 thats gathering dust in our spare room.
I had orange sorbet as part of my fruit starter yesterday - it was lush. good luck finding a recipe for it. I'll a flick through my books later. Those mince pies sound amazing jules - please can you drop them on the recipes thread for us?

I'd like to thank, my GP, My WW leader, everyone on this forum, brighton belle for keeping the chart.... my mum, my OH... my DS.... sniff, sniff.... better go before I get too emotional.
Oh, and one small correction bb - I did actually acheive the challenge. Last week I lost 1.5lbs the week before was 0.5lbs, this week was 2lbs off - 4lbs total. I know it's a bit late now and I didn't really want to be pedantic about it since the chart is posted but I think it's the first time I've achieved the monthly target in FOREVER!
grannynise - I have no objections to you taking over the chart for a time either but just wanted to you know that it can be time consuming on a Wednesday if you don't update the chart every day from people's posts. As far as I'm concerned, the more the merrier as we all get a benefit from seeing it posted up every week.
. I know that I'm meant to take it over in January but if you and brighton belle want to decide between yourselves if either of you would like the honour  feel free. If not, bb I'd be grateful if you could e-mail it back to me.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0
