Hi all,
thanks to you all for the massive amounts of support you all gave me yesterday. I got lots of things to think about and got myself a really early night last night and things are looking a lot more rosy. Petrichor, you were right that my post was quite heartfelt, and it does kind of lurk at the back of my mind that I've never shifted this 15kg, but yesterday it was bothering me. Most days i can shrug it off and put it in perspective, but yesterday I was struggling. In the cold light of day I've realised that I need to let go of stuff a bit, stop trying to be perfect, stick to SW properly and take more exercise. Missy, I'd LOVE a cross trainer but I've been trying to find one that folds down(space is somewhat at a premium in our house) and doesn't cost £400 - if you have any tips on where to get one I'd be dead chuffed!
BB, I really really hope you are feeling better today, how awful for you to be feeling so poorly. Delly, your idea of not eating after a certain time is a very good one and i shall be trying it. I'm trying to find you on facebook but it's having a meltdown this morning and won't search. I won't give up though! and wow for your result. Well done poohbear too!
Okay, I'm locking the self flagellation stick in Ajax's shed for Christmas and no-one can have it until at least the new year. Bails, can you keep hold of the key?!0 -
Morning lovely peeps
thanks for all your kind words. Victory - I truely appreciate now what you go through and I am full of admiration for your positiveness. I am determined to keep cheerful too. Things are bad enough without becoming difficult to be around. So a quick weep here and there to let it all out and it's on with the show.:D
I can report a 1lb loss this week, though I am glad actually it's not more, beacuse I am eating so little that I don't want a rebound effect when I start being able to eat more! But don't worry peeps: what I am getting down me is all healthy stuff: veg and fruit. Might try making some soup today and buying some straws :rotfl:
Granny, I'm sure you'd be very welcome to do the chart sometime - I'm happy to carry on a bit longer, or hand over. It can be a bit time consuming if you are a very busy peep, but it is a great way to get a sense of what is going on for everyone else weight wise.
Pet - that is my favourite advent piccy so far. Keep throwing the snow because I'll be checkin every few hours.
Well done on the philosophical approach to the 3lbs bails. It will all come off after Xmas, I promise. Your body's a bit all over the place and you've had that cold. Once you feel better and are a bit more active again - you'll see. Glad today is a better one for you kpc:T .
A few days late, but thanks victory for that lovely post re how you felt about the forum: I feel just the same. Oh, and nice to 'meet' you missyg - you do actually loook how I imagined. Gorgeous hair and all:j
Well done poohbear - that's great result! And to you efrieze
bbI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Hi all.
i managed to STS this week even after several pizzas, cakes, chocolate at crisps so really pleased it wasn't a gain. I finish my temp work at tescos this weekend. I had a nice thank you letter from the store manager in the post this morning. He did say if I was interested in doing more temp work or staying on permanently to speak to my line manager & they will see what is available. I'd quite like to stay on but not do sundays so I have time with my OH & DD & perhaps just do saturdays & a couple of evenings in the week & maybe pick up sundays temporary again at busy times like easter & xmas when everyone thinks the stores shutting for good not just a couple of days. I really enjoy it there & the extra money will come in handy too then I will be able to buy luxuries like new clothes & shoes & save up for a new car and not have to worry about money when I eventually have baby 2. Now I've managed to clear all my debts with a manageable loan its gonna be a lot easier in the future cos now there is money left at the end of the month which is good.
Anyway got to go DD's got another xmas party at 1.00. Luckily there's nothing tomorrow so we're going to my mum's then my nan & grandad's. Then another xmas party Friday pm.
I'm still trying to find people on facebook if anyone wants to find me i think I posted my proper name & my photo is the same as the one I posted on here a couple of days ago.
Take care all EmmaxxxLife is like a box of chocs ..... i've got a soft centre but I ate the whole box.

Really great to have you on board and joining our gang jillie:j . :j The weekly weight loss chart is posted on wed eve, so I suggest you weigh every wed mornng if you are not doing it through a club and then post the result on the forum. Tonight's is the last chart for dec, though many of us will be here for un and support over Xmas. The new 5lbs monthly challenge starts wed 2nd Jan, so on that day post on the forum that you want to be added to the chart and start from then - so obviously (unlessyou lose over Xmas:D ) you won't have a weight loss to report on the first wed but from then on you WILL.
bb
PS DELLY: could you let me know you current total weight loss - not sure if that is correct on the chart after the 'debacle' and also - you have vanished from facebook - I found lois ok as you suggested and you are not listed as one of her friends... not sure who kpc is currently pokingI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
