If you eat raw onion and then drink tea it tastes of something very dodgy.

I can't stand Man Utd either bails but there's only one player in the whole of English football who I'd pay to watch on his own and that's Ronaldo. All the skill has gone out of it, apart from him. Joe Cole is alright, but Ronaldo is the closest we have these days to a Willie Johnston or a Robin Friday or even a Glenn Hoddle.

Cool so your muesli probably has dried fruit in it so that's 1 portion; when I have eggs on toast now I have some salad or raw spinach on the side - might only be half a portion but every little helps! Or you could have some baked beans if you like them.
Ooh, I didn't know baked beans counted! That's good! More jackets with beans for me then.

Awwshame.
On a serious note, are peanuts good for you? As in the monkey nut ones you have to crack the shell of?
I'm keeping up with my healthy eating, had a nice bit of smoked haddock & salad today. But I did slip up earlier & had some fried bacon grill (kinda like spam) and some fried mushrooms. It was on a ryvita thou

Obviously there are times when we all consume too few calories, such as when we're ill or, like me, just off my food yesterday for other reasons and you can't force yourself to eat. I'm sure the occasional day or two of undereating isn't a problem, just as the occasional day of indulgence isn't
I'm not feeling any hungrier today but I have managed 1016 (and still holding off on the exercise).
Hi missyg - sorry things aren't brill at the mo- hope things sort themselves out soon - you've turned round so much in your life and are really focussed and I am imagine this is something slightly out of your control, which is never nice. I sympathise about having no appetite -hope I didn't come across as implying you were 'wrong' to eat so little, as it was quite clear it was through stress and unavoidable. You are right - a few days won't do any harm, most of all becasue you are aware of what is happening and you've done well to up the cal count today - I know how hard that is at the moment, having both completely lost my appetite for nearly a month now, and struggling to eat becasue of my arthritic jaw. My g.p.has just prescribed some liquid food, just to help me ensure I'm getting enough good nutrients in me, particulary important while I'm so poorly.
Gpuk - don't see twice a week at the gym as 'only'. That's a really good effort and is probably quite enough. Better to go twice and enjoy that try and pressure yourself to do more and crack under the strain of too much to do in life. Your reward sounded great.
Perhaps you can up the walking in your day to day life as well if you want to do a little more.
Vixie - you're 147lbs(10st 7lbs)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

What you going to do to celebrate Raph? That's so impressive, well done you for being so determined!
I'm on restricted hours on MSE so just popping in while OH is on the phone to America (we get it free, phew!). Peanuts are good for you in that they contain good fats but it is still fat so eating as many as an elephant would is not advisableHave a few with your fruit to get your protein in.
Talking of protein  your concoction sounds wrong Vix!
Had a look at my stats on Missy's links - BMR is 1516 and cals to maintain are 1819. When I had my stuff properly measured at uni ( 12 years ago ) my BMR was around 1360. Won't be counting calories or anything like it though, just not my bag; and also, my illness will screw my BMR results so as missy said (and as with all these things), just a guide not a definitive measurement. Thanks for them, was interesting. Better go, be on tomorrow xx
ps I put my iPod on charge earlier so I can take it to the gym...:T...bit scared about overdoing it but will try to be Miss Sensible. That treadmill will be calling me saying 'Run Bails, run!' Failing that, I'll take myself for a swim :jThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

I've wanted to learn for years. I think when I get the last confirmation that the account is finally closed there may be a large amount of vodka involved
