can I kindly ask? Even though I’m going to print and fill in the DQ from the website, is it normal to take this long to be issued as it shows on MCOL history that it still hasn’t been issued? Thanks
You told us on 13th October that the CCBC sent you a letter. Didn't that tell you the Claimant had twenty eight days to consider your Defence?
What you don't know is when the CCBC sent a copy of your Defence to the Claimant. It follows from that that it is not known when the Claimant has to respond to the CCBC.
Further, we don't know what delays there are in the CCBC that means they don't send you a DQ as promptly as you might like.
Can I suggest that you keep checking your MCOL Claim History and as soon as you see that the CCBC has sent a DQ to you, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back to the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course.
Yes the letter from CCBC says that the Claimant had twenty eight days to consider my Defence. After that I’ve received a letter informing me that they want to proceed and sent me a copy of the Claimant’s completed DQ which they filed with the court. This was mid October. They’ve asked for mediation but I didn’t answer to their letter. As per NEWBIE thread. So I keep checking the MCOL history to see if the DQ has been issued but the last entered action was “Your defence has been received on xxxxxxxx date”I hope I haven’t missed any steps 😳0 -

Hi everyoneI have now received the DQ and will be sending it back to the court and the claimant by email. Shall I also email it to their solicitor? 🤔0

If the Claimant is being represented by a solicitor, then at throughout the court process all communication with the Claimant should be through that solicitor.Suzy_1 said:Hi everyoneI have now received the DQ and will be sending it back to the court and the claimant by email. Did you not see that box on your Claim Form entitled...Address for sending documents and payments (if different)2 -
Thanks Redx. Yes I’ve read it in there with a link to bargepole’s post. Would the email be enough or shall I also post it to the scam artist Galdystones? 😃Redx said:
