I sent the pic from yesterday as I have posted on here they have the same one and confirmed the monthly usage I thought. Just hoping the meter has had a melt down. Going to trust the one I have now plugged in in the house so I can prove my actual usage

Just point out to them that your photo shows a decimal point on the display so they were reading it incorrectly...

Also your little IHD display in the house can probably show you the meter reading as well if you search through the menus...

The blurry one? My guess is they may not have been able to see clearly enough what it showed. I can't actually make out a decimal point on that photo but from today's I suspect it is there.

Yes admitted not the best son took today’s so better I will send them that one as well and ask about the decimal point and has it moved or reset and got confused. I’m watching the inside one and that’s seems to be correct and going green and red when it should 3kw today which is more normal as I’m really careful with my energy

I wonder whether there was an over-the-air upgrade a few weeks ago in preparation for 1 October when the new prices kicked in and that this reset the meter and caused all the problems?

Make sure you're not confusing instantaneous usage (power) with the daily usage (energy).  It's an easy mistake to make but kW and kWh are very different units.
3kWh seems slightly on the low side for the daily energy usage; averaged over the year it's 7.975kWh per day for a typical household that also has gas.  As it's roughly halfway between summer and winter that might be the figure to expect, although the day is not yet over and YMMV.
However, instantaneous power of 3kW is quite likely if you have a high power appliance such as a kettle or washing machine in use in addition to the usual background stuff (fridge, freezer, standby etc).

I’ve not had gas on and I’ve no appliances like a drier that use a lot I’m really care full especially today given the meter going up so fast £1,50 to £2,50 is norm for me
