I am still here, but am shying away from fezzing up, all I can say is that I am exploding in slow motion and I am not happy about it. SAturday was good as I walked over 14.000 steps, after a lot of 2000 steps days. I think that since I was ill, I have just been incredibly tired and felt a bit fragile, so while I did go for a run on Thursday - that is not much in a whole week off.
Stay tuned.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Shamefully I'm up a pound.
I blame my OH for buying pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. I blame my OH for ordering a humongous Chinese takeaway on Saturday night. I blame the OH for having such a problem rolling me up the stairs so I can go to bed.
I have a feeling there's something wrong with this scenario. Maybe I'm supposed to be an adult and take responsibility for my silly bad habits. First “official” weigh-in this morning. I’ve put a bit on since the last time I weighed myself about 2 weeks ago. I will blame a half term week full of lunches out, coffees and cakes, and not being able to walk as much because of a flare-up of plantar fasciitis.@Brie, I completely agree with you, about being a responsible adult. However, I wish I’d never introduced Ben & Jerry’s ice cream to my partner…….LBM: August 2006 - £12,568.49 —— DFD: 12 March 2012

3lb Off please @Brambling.
No idea how that happened. One thing, I am trying to be mindful of are portion sizes and snacking.
Have been watching Dr Fung on the tube and he talks about fasting and snacking. It has made me think about not eating in the morning (I don't get hungry and not a breakfast / morning person), also about eating when is best for you. If changing my eating habits for a few weeks shifts a few lb then win win.
One other thing which is working for me .... as I've said before, is not getting on those scales at 'fat club' (as my friends call it) and stressing myself out.

Ouchy for the plantar fasciitis - any chance that the foods over the last couple of weeks are a causative factor at all?? Or is it a more direct result of socialising and therefore wearing the wrong footwear or something?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Or is it a more direct result of socialising and therefore wearing the wrong footwear or something?I had the plantar fasciitis a few years ago, when I used to do a lot of walking. I didn’t quite understand when my GP said to rest it that it meant no long walk across the countryside. It took 2 years to go. It flared up as I started work again after the summer holidays. I spend a lot of time on my feet. It’s an aggravating factor, as is being overweight. This time, I’m resting my foot, stretching the tendon, and taking ibuprofen as necessary. The really vexing thing is that I always wear sensible shoes, never high heels!LBM: August 2006 - £12,568.49 —— DFD: 12 March 2012
