Hi brambling, I think that blitzing the cottage cheese would probably work better, but I used a fork. I’ve made flatbreads with ff yoghurt too and they’re lovely.I used half a cup of both and added a tiny bit of xanthum gum as gluten free products tend to dissolve into crumbs without it,5

This week I've been less active - although still hitting my daily targets for exercise through other means - but haven't been out on my bike as it's been wet and horrible. There was a flash sale in Ocado for clotted cream and mince pies last week - so have had two mince pies daily with a dollop of cream - finished both off now - so that'll put me in a good position for next week. Happy to be holding around the right figure - although I still haven't quite achieved that 70kg target - was very close this week - got to 70.1kg!
From the beginning to now - my summary:
Start weight: 200.84lbs
Start of previous quarter challenge: 189.93lbs
Current quarter challenge:
Week 1 start weight: 159.39lbs
Week 2 start weight: 157.3lbs (lost 1.09lb - declared -1lb)
Week 3 start weight: 155.65lbs (lost 1.65lb - declared -1.5lb)
Week 4 start weight: 155.54lbs (lost 0.11lb - declared STS)
Week 5 start weight: 155.87lbs (gain 0.33lb - declared STS)
Target for this quarter -5lbs
So far: -2.5lbs
Total loss since beginning: -45lbs
Loss declared this week: STS

I love creme brûlée Sue I would also have been led astray 🙂
I weighed in today with 1.5lb loss 🙂 which I'm happy about. My sister is coming to stay tomorrow until next Tuesday, I fear it wouldn't be pretty we lead each other astray 😬

Thanks for the welcome. Sorry I haven't been joining in. I will try to do better.
I have lost 1lb since I started at the beginning of October. I am up a pound, down a pound though and it is quite frustrating! I am going to have a really good push for November. In particular, I am going to have oats with fruit and a glass of water for breakfast and try to increase the greens on my plate for my other meals. Also no biscuits - they keep sneaking into my hand most days even if it is just one or two, here or there.
We have tried the Mindful Chef meal box last week and are having another next. That will be it though as they are too expensive at full price though nice for a change. The meals made me realise how big our portions usually are! Something else to watch.
Hope you are all doing well.'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'5 -
PurpleJay, I had a similar problem with the quantity of food at mealtimes. I found that a small plate helped, as did at one point a child's cutlery set. It forced me to eat slower.
Doesn't help with biscuits though. Or chocolate.
Can I claim a loss of 1 lb please Brambling.

Hello!I think I would like to join this group and see if I can lose some weight. I have been trying since the beginning of the year, but got nowhere. I lose some, and put it back on. On the positive side, I seem to have maintained my weight6 years ago I got to my ideal weight, just as I met my partner. 6 years of a comfortable life, of glasses of wine, take-aways on nights we are too tired to cook and I need to lose 2 stones.I know what to do to lose weight, but I am seriously lacking in willpower, even though I know it will be better for my health, and I will be happier with what I see in the mirror!Initially, I would like to lose 8lbs between now and mid-December.
So, tomorrow, I start again. Seriously this time.»The road to DF is long and bumpy » Greensaints6
